River Oaks Plaza — Local services in San Jose

If you are in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller avoid this plaza. They renovated the parking lot, but there is a spot where the only way to get to a ramp is to walk thru 1/4 of the lot...behind cars that could reverse at any time. Had an incident today where my toddler tripped and fell down right in the middle of the lot, with cars trying to get past...very nerve wracking and dangerous. Very friendly staff and down to earth dentist. Run by a team of husband and wife. Very accomodating, I chipped my tooth the other day and Dr. Lai was very gracious to squeeze me in the next day. Dr. Lai actually slowed down and explained what he was doing and the reason as well as what I should expect over the next few days. River Mark Plaza is adjoining the Elan Village Apartment. It is becoming popular with the opening of an Indian restaurant- Talab, a pizzeria- Mountain Mike's and an Indian grocery store- 5 spice.
