Rancho Sierra Vista Equestrian Center — Local services in San Juan Capistrano

I have had my two stallions, 3 mares and a colt boarded at Rancho Sierra Vista for 3 years. After owning my own ranch for 18 years I was not sure I could find a place to board my horses and still feel I could ride them, care for them, but most importantly walk away from them and know they were well taken care of. RSV has provided all of that AND more! The owners and staff are amazing. Wonderful people but also "on top" of anything that is needed. They keep the place amazingly clean and organized, which is HARD to do with a stables of this size, and truly care about each horse and owner. I also love the fact that a vet is on site. That has saved one of my horses through colic and another with eye problems. Plus getting shots, health cert. and everything is so easy. And GREAT vets! But most of all I love the riding areas. I can take my horses out onto beautiful trails, or in nice size arenas, turn out areas, round pens, wash racks, and even a race track. I could not be happier than what I have...

Trainer, Doug Porcello, is very good at what he does with horses. Very kind to them yet effective. Reining performance horses are his specialty however redirecting negative behaviors in horses is another talent of Doug's.
