The course is beautiful however, very sadly managed. The staff in the pro shop spent more time in his cell phone checking social media than managing the pro shop guests. The Marshall was practicing his chipping and putting all afternoon on a busy Saturday instead of managing a large, out of order tournament. An 8 hour round is totally unacceptable! Rather than encourage the pace of play by sugggesting “ready golf” or something to that effect, they ignored several calls from the other paid golfers for assistance. In my last of 4 phone calls over a span of 3 hours, the pro shop attendant said, “ I don’t know what’s going on, the marshal has been practicing his putting on the putting green. I’m watching him now” That didn’t make me, Or anyone else that paid full price for 18 holes of golf feel like our experience mattered. As I approached the same pro shop attendant for a credit of 9 holes for not beating able to finish, he said, there were several other people that paid and that He didn’t feel I deserved any sort of refund. Service with a smile!!! We had played the 18 here only once before but this visit was for fathers day. Reserved Tee Time online via the course website. My husband was thrilled. 🏌️‍♂️Checked in the pro shop and it went smoothly. Staff was extremely friendly & welcoming. 🏌️‍♀️Golf cart pick up was a little unorganized but still friendly. 🏌️‍♂️The course was in great shape. And the weather & views were absolute perfection. 🏌️‍♀️My only complaint was the cost for our foresome was over $200 with carts. It didn't even include range balls for warm ups. Since this was a special occasion I bit the bullet and forked over the money. In the future though it will deter me from playing here unless I got a groupon or other deal. I actually really enjoyed this golf course even though it wasn't in the best condition. There were definitely some patchy and bare spots but I can see the potential of the design and it's located right on the bay. 3 of the 4 par 3's are about 180-190 yards from the gold tees but vary due to the wind. Amazing views, wild life all over, and a fun course to play. Pace of play wasn't great though, about 5 hours, but the weather was awesome and the people were friendly.
