Perfusion Vineyard is a hidden gem! John Bry, the proprietor, makes excellent Pinot Noir from his vineyard as well as an exceptional Rosé of Barbera along with reds and whites with grapes from other Northern California growers. We especially enjoyed his Petit Verdot. The unexpected location in the Richmond hills and the setting next to an old barn above the sloping vineyard is relaxing and serene. It was perfect for my partner's birthday celebration with close to 50 guests. John was incredibly accommodating and hands on in the process of planning and setting up the space for the event. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed John's friendly manner and conversing with him as they sampled his collection of wines and his olive oil produced from the olive trees on the property. We ran into Perfusion Vineyard by “accident” and met the owner John. He was so welcoming and got us excited about coming back again and again to his multiple events. Those include makers’ faires, wine tastings and life music. His vineyard is very intimate and my partner and I were so intrigued by the community and its location in the hills. These conversations and experiences led us to using Perfusion Vineyard as our location to celebrate our commitment ceremony there last week with many friends and family. John was so easy to work with, talked us through the process, supported us with very good ideas. It was a terrific experience so see him and his staff make this such a memorable and beautiful event. Perfusion Vineyards is quite simply a magical place. I held my birthday celebration there and invited friends new and old. We could just as easily have been in Italy. Surrounded by natural beauty of the vineyard with olive trees and grapevines dotting the hillside. The wine itself is a must have. The Chardonnay and Rose are my favorites. Literally my guests who traveled from back east are ordering this wine to be shipped.
