East Valley Styles Barbershop — Local services in San Tan Valley

This was the first mobile barber that I had ever heard of and they had a booth at the JAM at Esteban Park Concert Festival. I was encouraged to get my hair cut and beard trimmed and since I needed the cut, I checked it out.

l will admit, I know a few good barbers as I traveled across the continent who have trimmed my hair, but this experience was transformational. The bus was customized, and when you walk in you immediately find yourself in a swanky space that is your favorite male hangout!

Jay, is the barber with the confident demeanor and he cuts anyone's hair! There was a white gentleman ahead of me who was getting a trim on his beard, and when he was done, he looked like a million bucks. Then Jay share the before pictures, and this man had be transformed from an unruly looking character to royalty! Wow!

I don't have any before and after shots of my self, but after my cut and trim, I received accolades from my wife and sister.Then I stepped out of the bus and got hit by the festival paparazzi (I'm sure there are plenty of shots online), and it was at this point that I realized that I too had been transformed.

Jay stood around while all of this activity was going on around me and I could see the smile on his face, knowing he had worked is magic, again! It is actually these moments that gives him joy.

Jay took a few photos with me to commemorate the moment, but this was a defining moment in my life, and you wouldn't expect a haircut and a trim to do this, but I was told by so many at the festival, I looked 25-years younger!

I can't say enough good things about this barbershop as it was the best experience I've ever had at a barbershop! From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was so friendly! The shop is very clean and organized and very up-to-date. I had an appointment and was taken right on time, so I can't speak for walk-ins. But I'm sure if you are a walk-in, you would have to wait as most people book appointments in advance. Jay was my barber, and WOW is he good! I have long hair and get an undercut with a high fade and most places I've gone to struggle to make it the way I like. Jay got it on his first try! Jay was so friendly as I am always super nervous going to a barbershop being a female. But I felt completely comfortable! I must mention as it might be important to some that they our LGBTQ FRIENDLY! Myself being part of the lgbtq community I struggle with ignorant comments or business, not wanting to serve me, especially in the area where I live. But not at this shop, and definitely not Jay! Jay treated me with nothing but kindness and respect like I was just a normal person! No pushing religion or his beliefs on me, just pure kindness, a great conversation, and an AWESOME FADE!!! I 100% recommend this barbershop and want to say thank you to Jay for putting such a big smile on my face!!! Will be back next month, especially since the wife LOVES...

My entire family gets their hair done at this shop. We each have different hair needs & EVS has someone available to take care of us. I’ve had my hair cut by multiple Barbers at the shop; I love the way Maq cuts my hair & the conversations we have. The benefit of getting my hair cut each time by the same Barber, Maq knows what he’s doing & knows how to work with my hair so that I end up with the cut I want each time. He knows what I want before I even sit down, even if we are changing things up time to time. My wife also loved having her hair done by Maq. Our son has 3c hair and gets his hair taken care of by multiple artists there. That’s what they are: artists. Shay takes care of his styling with braids, locs, and more. Reuben & Jay take care of his facial hair & keep his undercut fresh & his edges straight. It’s best to book ahead unless you’re not in a hurry. We won’t go anywhere else. This...
