I've never had such bafflingly rude non-service in my entire life...Sonic isn't ever like this. With nobody behind me in the drive-thru, I asked for 2 "slush floats" (just slushies with dollops of ice cream) and tater tots. "Uh, do you mean 'cream floats?'" she asked. Unsurprised because it's not the most common order, I told her "no," that I'd wanted 2 cherry slushies with vanilla ice cream — branded as their "slush float." After something to the effect of "uh...OK, pull forward" was said, I verified suspiciously at the window (once she'd finally appeared) that she was indeed making slush floats, and she looked flabbergasted. She proceeds to inform me that they were already making the 2 "cream floats," adds that it's "the same thing but with the ice-cream mixed in," and asks me if I'd still "take" (i.e. pay for) what's their flavorless version of an Italian ice. I peered into my rearview mirror, and confirmed that still, nobody was behind me.
Hating unnecessary confrontation, I politely expressed that I'd prefer the unblended slush floats I'd ordered...but to alleviate the awkward, 10-second silence as she stared at me, I told her she could also remove them from my otherwise-tiny order if it wasn't possible to remake them. She said something like, "let me see, just a second" before heading toward the back. My fingers crossed for luck, she emerged minutes later (still, nobody behind me except for my eager, 7 year old strapped in his booster) to announce that the floats were taken off my order, so I paid for the tots and drove off completely confused.
Just don't go...
Read moreHorrible. I came through here and ordered two drinks. The drinks I received were not the drinks I ordered and I called in to let them know I had received the wrong drinks. I was told that my name would be written down and to just come in the next day to get my drink replaced. So I did. When I came through the drive through the manager on the speaker. Adrianna was her name. She was very hostile and rude at the speaker, she argued with me that because her employee failed to write down my name she wasn’t gonna do anything about it. I asked why would you guys promise to fix an order you dont intend on fixing. I then continued to speak to her on the speaker and she ignored me. I sat for 2 minutes asking if someone was there. Nothing. I drive to the window and the manager doesn’t greet me for a minute, when she finally came to the window she said “can I help you” i responded asking her if she could contact the employee who was working when I called to confirm I called in. She responded that she wasn’t gonna do jt because she would have to call 5 different people. She then tells me “can you go you’re blocking my line” . I just drove off. I feel disrespected and Im the only one who’s inconvenienced. I come through to order something and get the wrong thing, I got promised that my order would be fixed just to be told it’s not their problem because the person who promised didnt write down my name. I come here and spend my money here every day....
Read more¡Entendido! Aquí tienes la reseña corregida con "Sony" reemplazado por "Soni" y traducida al inglés: Title: The height of incompetence and frustrating burgers at Soni! If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. My recent visit to Soni was such a regrettable experience that it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth – and not just from the food! To start, is it so difficult to remember to include a few measly napkins? It seems that for the staff at Soni, this elementary task is far beyond their capabilities. But it doesn't end there. This isn't the first time Soni has spectacularly let me down. On my previous visit, I had the "luck" of them completely forgetting the sauce I ordered. The result? A bland and dry burger that I had to swallow in the solitude of my home, regretting my choice to spend my money at this depressing establishment. The tension in the atmosphere was palpable, as if the employees were waging an internal battle against the very idea of providing decent service. Lack of care and attention to detail are hallmarks of this place. Soni, you have achieved the unthinkable: turning a simple fast food meal into a source of constant frustration and disappointment. Save yourself the money and the hassle! There are many other places that do care about their customers and are capable of remembering such basic things as a napkin or the requested sauce. Avoid Soni at all costs if you value your time and...
