I had a massage and facial. The facial was a quality service and the technician was polite and friendly. However, the mom-to-be massage was sub par and stressful and that really overshadowed my experience. The massage therapist talked and talked and talked about her personal life for nearly the entire massage. She was unprofessional and out of touch— people, least if all pregnant women, don’t come to a spa to be bombarded with over sharing. It was awkward and not at all what I expected. Despite efforts to relax I left the massage drained and feeling like I’d just sat in on a stranger’s psychotherapy session. The irony being that I was paying to be there. Read moreI love this place. It's my 6th time staying here, and I'll always come back. We got a king fireplace suite, the first time I have been able to do that due to budget. It has the old feel of a ski lodge in the 80s, but new features in the bathroom, like a rain shower head bed and pillowd. I appreciate the nostalgic feel of the place. Sure the furniture is a bit dated, but the bed isn't. Part of the great energy of this place is the old school feel. I appreciate it's close proximity to all my favorite places in Welch's, and all the outdoor things you could every want to do (ok, no ocean, but heyyy:) I received a facial last time I stayed here and loved it.

Old man cleaning it the next day said he was retired but his friend asked if he wanted to make few buck. TV didn't work. Bathroom smelt like 90 year old lady queefed in a bag of microwaved popcorn!
