Service started out great. Then when we received our order, everything pretty much went down hill. My $38 Lemon Garlic Herb Halibut was over cooked and extremely dry. The $24 Halibut Fish & Chips was over cooked and dry. Then my husband’s $45 8oz. Ribeye steak was extremely over cooked. He ordered medium rare and received the first steak in the picture. It was so over cooked. Then he told the waitress and she said “ok I will have to check and get back with you.” He waited for another 20 minutes before we had to ask what they were planning to do about the steak. They finally brought out the second steak, shown in second picture. Still over cooked and extremely under seasoned. Their menu describes the steak as a “8ozRibeyeSteak Seasoned Prime Cut Ribeye cooked to order topped with caramelized onions” there was no seasoning and no caramelized onions and definitely not to order. The other 2 entries the $14 BBQ short ribs and $7 kid’s chicken tender was barely decent. The only thing almost decent was the chicken wings appetizer. We had to wait almost another thirty minutes to get the check. My husband ended up having to go up to the bar and for the check. Our check was $157 plus $24 tip. The restaurant is understaff with one person running the bar and table. One person (the manager) as the host, waitress, and only person in charge of ringing up the orders and collecting the money. And one person busing the tables and refilling the water. I usually do not write up reviews but a dinner that cost that much and ended up over 2 hours, which 1 hour was wasted just waiting around is just ridiculous.

This was an absolute phenomenal experience at Altitude. We visited on a Friday night for my girlfriends birthday. From start to finish it was one of her best birthday dinner experiences. Her ribeye was cooked perfect and was a great cut of meat. The prime rib was of the highest quality. Our server, Bre was extremely attentive and festive with us, knowing it was a birthday visit. Her and Kate even surprised my girlfriend with a birthday song and desert. The food was so enjoyable that I had to ask the cooks name, shout out to Manny. Well done. Overall this was one of our best restaurant experiences, kicked off vacation the right way.

The service here is incomparable provided by Melia. Tina, the manager made sure that everything was in order. I stopped by on taco Tuesdays and had a nice assortment of pork steak, chicken and shrimp tacos at only two dollars each during happy hour. I had a long day of driving behind me so I wasn’t drinking. I just had a diet Dr Pepper that would love to have a mixed drink and a glass of wine next time. I highly recommend this relaxing venue with five star service. Mahalo Melia

One of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. Upon arrival there was 1 other table with 2 people at it and 3 staff. It took almost 30 minutes before waters were brought and then only have our table received them and We never received enough menus and had to share. Finally after almost an hour someone came to take our order. We watched the staff stand behind the bar doing nothing during this entire time. They only even came because we were staring over there and locked eyes with one. One of the people dining with us had celiacs and were treated very poorly for asking questions about gluten free items. The children’s menu also only had 2 options, one of which was made with pepper jack cheese and kinda spicy and not even kid friendly. Once our order for food and drinks was in it was another half hour before the food came and we still had not received our drinks and had to ask 2 more times before receiving them(mind you we still did not even have all of our waters at this point!). When he finally brought over the drinks he had the audacity to SLAM them down on the table. 2 people asked for lemonade and it was HOT! What?!?!! Yes hot lemonade… The food was terrible. Half was cold, half had no flavor, things missing or not as requested. We left with full plates and empty bellies. Not once were we asked if we needed anything or how our food was. We couldn’t even initiate asked because he was nowhere to be found. Half of the people with us chose to go back to their room and eat hot pockets over the food they were served if that tells you anything… 20% gratuity was automatically applied which given the worlds worst service we received we were less then happy. He also had the audacity to suggest we tip MORE on top of the 20% which honestly we normally would, had we received good service. Several of the people with us have worked or do currently work in the service industry so we are always extremely polite and tip well as we know how it is! We were guests at the resort, which means we get free breakfast and chose to go elsewhere the next morning and pay because the food and service was that bad for dinner… To top it off the staff sat around watching a child from the other group bang on the piano for 20 minutes 🙃 Overall I suggest you steer very clear of this place! $80...

Very extremely sad with my experience here… My husband and I are road tripping for our honeymoon decided to stay at the hotel and eat at altitude for a nice high ended dinner for our last evening. high end prices we paid but the food was not up to quality. Our drinks and app were alright. We had Brie with honey for app. But for dinner I had salmon and my husband had primavera with chicken. We both had to season our dishes with salt and pepper considering it was very bland. My husband only ate 2-3 bites before calling it quits because he wasn’t a fan. Although - I was starving and wasn’t gonna let missing salt and pepper ruin my meal so I tried to eat as much of the plate (probably alittle over half) as I could… BAD decision on my part. I spent what felt like the entire evening throwing up from food poisoning and laying in the bathroom while my husband felt fine. Was sad that I not only wasted almost $200 on dinner during my honeymoon but that I spent that whole night sick when we were just trying to have a nice romantic evening :( Called and let them know and they didn’t really seem to care nor were concerned. I manage restaurants and as a FOH manager I would have ripped BOH apart to figure out what made someone sick AND would have refunded them. Oh well. Eat...
