I went in to get a sub and amp installed in my new 2022 Acura MDX. I installed my two 10in subs on my 2001 eclipse but I didn't want to worry about the ANC in these newer cars so I decided to go to a "professional". Big mistake. I paid $800 and brought my own speaker. So that's just the amp, wires and labor. The job was done very quickly and he decided to put the amp under my seat (I thought was weird) after I asked for it to be put on the back. I leave and the bass just doesn't hit. I assume it's the ANC and ask the guy if he did anything about it. He said my car didn't have an ANC. I looked it up again and my car DOES. So I went back to show him the bass not hitting. You could turn the volume up and the speaker wouldn't even move. Any bass enthusiasts know that's not right. He tries to sell me another speaker saying that's just how it sounds. I was like no...I have two 10s in my eclipse like I said. I'm not new to sound systems. I ended up having to go home and do the work myself (the whole point in paying someone else to do it is so I don't have to, I obviously CAN) and I found out he wired the amp wrong. Hmm funny how he hid it under my seat then wired it wrong, THEN instead of trying to fix it tried to sell me another speaker. And his idea of compensation for the fact he literally did nothing but sell me an amp, he gave me a blind spot mirror...to put on a car with blind spot indicators!! I about died laughing lol all in all it was a horrible experience. I paid a lot of money to have someone hand me an amp. I paid 800 bucks to supply the speaker and do the work myself. And the guy argued me till the very end until I basically talked to him like a child saying I'm not trying to hurt your feelings I just expect a business owner to care about the quality of work he supplies to his customers. If it was MY company I would want to FIX it not worry solely about my ego. And the most I got at the end was him admitting it was wrong and giving me the blind spot mirror. I left so mentally exhausted trying to help that man understand how to run a business. If you own a business for car audio and electronics I'd assume you'd want to know how to properly hook up car audio...
Read moreI have taken 3 cars to Car Audio Electronics an received excellent service from Alfredo and his staff. I feel they went above and beyond my expectations each time. They provided WiFi for me so I could work while they are working on my vehicles. I had amp install kits, speaker boxes, bass boost knobs, and connection to my factory radios in each of my vehicles. I even pulled my equipment out of my truck which Car Audio Electronics originally installed for me and they used my original equipment and installed it in my latest vehicle. They even bought back my truck boxes at a fair price and upgraded me to a single larger box which was a better fit for my latest vehicle. My speaker grills were bent from my truck seats and Car Audio Electronics was able to fix those as well. This my reason for giving them five stars, I would highly recommend them to my friends and family and I feel very confident Alfredo and his staff will provide great quality work at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with all the work they have done for and I know you will be too. Pick up the phone and give them a call, they are a top notch business that is very qualified and professional to...
Read moreI had to change my review. Alfred and his team are really nice people and they will try, try, try, try and try to fix/correct something that isn't right. However, there are only so many times you can drive an hour away in hopes your systems will be right. The music is not tuned at all, ALL the highs are going through the front speakers, ALL the mids are going through the back speakers and all the bass is going to the sub.. That is not how your speaker sound layout should be. My sub turns off almost everyday (brand new alpine sub). The power wire running from the amp to the battery was supposed to be Blue (the higher end wire) but its Orange (the lower end) I noticed that the first day but I didn't bother addressing it. Now i have to spend the money for another shop to disassemble and reassemble everything, over $1000 down the drain. I hate to leave a negative review but the only reason I went to your shop was the reviews, so I want people to see a real review before they spend their hard earned...
