We woke up to no ac the day before 4th of July! The idea of getting anyone out that day or anytime soon was becoming unrealistic. It's already impossible getting someone to come out here in Krum to service anything. I left a message and continued calling with reoccurring disappointment. And I'm glad others turned me down because the service i received was beyond what i can rate here. Angela returned my call promptly and got Andra to come out by 5p.m. same day. I feel bad having anyone come late but he was unphased and happy to help. Getting to the root of the issue quickly by doing thorough testing on multiples potential issues, I was reassured that he didn't just guess or jump to an assumption like I've had from other companies before. The worst news was needing a new system entirely! But again, he didn't just say, "you need a new system" and walk off; he explained thoroughly WHY this was necessary even after calling multiple people to see if there was any other options. He was upfront, clear and honest. He stayed in close communication with Angela to have her discuss further options. She was very personable and empathetic to my needs having small children just over 1yrs old. She worked very hard to match a solution to my needs. Once they were reopened after the holiday they came out and got right to work with a new unit. Andra, Lerman and Ben were extremely professional working independently on different tasks for efficiency. These guys were great to have over helping me and my family. I really felt like they took care of me and I never had a feeling that they were rushing or exhausted. They were hard working guys with a lot of knowledge. TL;DR: Nice, informative, non-pushy professionals helped us decide on a new heat pump system that is saving us 60-35% on electricity while keeping humidity between 40-50% year round. Highly recommend Jason and PRK Services.

Last fall, we used PRK Services to replace our busted HVAC unit and upgrade our zone damper control system. We only actually needed the coils replaced in the air handler and this is all that they originally recommended. When I asked for a quote on a full replacement and for pros and cons of both, Jason (the owner) was very straight forward with me about in which situation we should go for fixing vs replacing and leaving us an opportunity to make the final decision. Again, this was all things that I requested and nothing that he was pushing for. After thinking over our situation and needs (basically a longer term, efficient yet affordable solution) we decided to replace the unit while keeping the ducts with a 5-ton American Standard 16 Seer with variable speed air handler. In addition, we opted for a Nexia zone control and damper system. We chose these upgrades bc the old system had failed prematurely (after only 6-7 years) and was never set up to work optimally with zoned ducting. Jason also worked with his guys to do some re-routing of our existing ductwork, instead of pushing for new ductwork, that resulted in much better airflow. These upgrades and improvements with the variable speed should result in a much longer lived system. As far as performance, it has been amazing. We’ve averages 60-35% monthly electricity savings over our previous unit while keeping humidity between 40-50%! For our extra costs, we are looking at breaking even in 8yrs on a system that should easily last 15yrs or more now that it’s set up to run more efficiently. Highly recommend Jason’s company...

I must say I am pretty impressed with the folks over here. My AC went down this Spring. Luckily we hadn't hit me a grigiously hot part yet just slightly horrible hot part of Texas. Lol. So I call them up speak with Angela Who is super professional and very sweet and understanding. I wasn't able to meet them the same day but they were out the next morning.

The gentleman they sent out was Ian who I later found out runs the shop he had been doing extra duty during this whole Corona crisis. In any case he lays out very cut-and-dry what needs to be done and gives me a couple of options. Once we had our decision made he got the parts ordered. As soon as the parts were in he sent two guys out and they were done that afternoon.

Preston and Ethan is who they send out and I must say Ethan probably is in training just based on the way that Preston took the lead. But let me tell you these guys work. I didn't see them stop for minute they just came and did what needed to be done. They wore a mask when they were in my house which we appreciated and cleaned up after themselves. The gentlemen were professional, polite and respectful to my wife and kids not just me. And just because i'm one of those annoying customers that likes to understanding an d learning new things, Preston was kind enough to answer my questions about my air conditioner sorry heat pump how and why the parts get installed the way they do.

In short weather talking to Angela, working with Ian, or working with Preston and Ethan every person here has been very professional and I would highly recommend it PRK services for anything have anything having to do with you HVAC. Thanks y'all we appreciate...
