Huge detractor to so called establishment. Been here 3 visits. New to the city of Sanger. Moved in new develops in Sept. 2024. First 2 visits were fair. Guess 3rd times the day of discrimination. Usually come in for quick produce purchases because everything else in store outside of produce is highly expensive for average prices compared to Winco or Walmart even Grocery Outlet. Wife, Baby, and I came in for simple stop for avocados and lemons for shrimp cocktail. Didn’t even make it further than the pan dulce section and wife was told by a cashier that we had to leave our Baby’s bag at the register. Wife asked where can she leave it, cashier said anywhere on the register or the floor. Wife replied anywhere where someone can steal it basically. Most awkward visit to any grocery store. We had to take my wife’s wallet out of our daughter’s baby bag. Then decided do we really want to shop here due to a stores assumption and lack of shrink and theft control. Maybe have staffed employees monitor grocery aisles, have management out on floor, hire asset protection, or better yet allow customers to shop happily. Here’s a tip for better protection never have a cashier walk away from a open register to explain a bogus verbal communication policy explained in a breakroom vs it being posted at the door so customers can read it and decide if they want to shop with your store. Maybe also pay the cashier more money for being a register representative along with a security for your establishment. So many preventable options outside of telling us to leave our bag unprotected with someone who can’t even stop someone stealing our possessions let alone a store that’s not liable or has insurance for theft of a customer’s property in store. Terrible call for a local store if you want local trust. Will continue to support Sam's Club, Sprouts, farmers market, and other cleaner establishments than a dim lit market that can’t pay for better lights for a up-bright visit for shoppers to shop in a better spirited mood. Sad former owners had to let go of the store and the new establishment took over. Many locals told us the change we didn’t believe it and now we do. Sad things will be going to shambles if you give shoppers this kind of experience. Hope Costco or Sam’s club gets developed by Walmart soon would never batted an eye to ever visit Ranch. Grocery Outlet got our 17$ thanks Grocery Outlet 5 star service as always. The Ranch 0...
Read moreToday is October 26th if it's Sunday 7:30 p.m. The girl at the cash register is not even remotely kind! I know the store well I go in here every day to get some odd or anything everyday! The very first time I went there I had a problem and that girl was on the service me and she didn't want to do anything about arotten bottle of mayonnaise that I had bought 15 min prior That was back in June since then every time I walk in the door she has something snide to say to me or some snide remark to meet to me about anything or something and have not when I walk in the door it's when I get to the register! This kind of person shouldn't be representing the store she should be in the back somewhere doing something else not at the register I run a business in this area! Only been here since June but we're not going anywhere please get along with us please. At least one of our employees brinks commerce to your...
Read moreFirst time here. Bought 3 things (OJ, Tootsie Roll, and tire repair kit). Tootsie Roll was hard as a rock & basically not edible. The tire repair kit had a $2.99 price tag but the register price was $5.99. The OJ was fine, but the refrigerated area it was stored in had a mold...
