I went to Think Computers because it was near and had good reviews. The back of my computer needed replacing because it wouldn't close. I gave them my laptop and they called me to give me a quote. I thought it was fair so I told them to proceed with the fix. A week later, I get a call and the part was delivered dented so they ordered another one. The second part also came dented, so they order a third. Each part takes about a week to ship. Now, I know it isn't their fault, so I'm patient.

They finally get a part that wasn't dented and the technician installs it. HE CRACKS MY SCREEN. Bruce, the guy that has been giving me updates, apologizes and says they'll replace my screen for free. I'm upset but that's fine. A week and a half goes by and they receive my screen. I drop my laptop off and pick it up in the afternoon. I go home with it and there are dead spots on my display. When my boyfriend drops it off the next day, they found that it was just dust, but guess what. THEY CRACK MY SCREEN AGAIN. So now I get to wait another week and a half and pray they don't crack it again trying to replace the cracked screen that they caused TWICE. This is the final straw.

Bruce is a good guy. He has been apologetic and helpful this entire time. The customer service has been great; the actual service has not been. I have gone a month and a half (SO FAR) without a working laptop and that is too long of a time for anyone, especially a student...

I rarely make reviews but I had to make an exception this time, espeically when a company can do something VERY simple to save customers a headache. POST ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT YOU ARE APPOINTMENT ONLY!!!! I wasted a lunch break to drive out to your office to see the placard stating no walk ins. Anyone needing a laptop fixed, save your time because they are not open, better yet go somewhere else where logic exists, it is sort of necessary...
