I am absolutely astonished by the horrible & deceitful salesmanship experience I have had from APRIL at this store. APRIL is the used "car salesman" of the furniture industry. Do not purchase from her. On our 1st time in this store she pressured us into purchasing a dining set in the store. At the time of purchase I said multiple times that I did not like the chairs but she continued to pressure. We were purchasing the set for a new house that we weren't closing on for another month out. Once we got the set, it became clear that it didn't match our other furniture as it wasn't really our style. Since this is a warehouse, they only allow 7 days to return from delivery and then it's only store credit. This honestly would would be a fine policy if it weren't for the how pushy APRIL was. Anyway. We accepted this and returned the set for store credit. Our new home is about an hour away from Sarasota. We returned to the store about 3 months later to use our credit- tried to avoid April but since she had handled the 1st sales, the store policy must state that she has to continue to work with us. This time we chose 2 chairs that she sold us. There was a balance after the credit was used that we paid. At the time of the sale she said "we only have 2 of these chairs in stock" at the warehouse. At that time she tried effortlessly to make a backup plan with us in case one of the chairs was damaged at the warehouse. She offered to let us pick up a floor model from another location or tried to pressure us into getting a color that we did not want. She did all this JUST in case one of the 2 remaining chairs in stock was damaged when we went to pick it up. So the next day we call the warehouse to let them know we are on the way to pick up our order and are then told that they don't know why we were sold this because they only have 1 of these chairs in stock. Based on her bizarre behavior trying to find a backup plan at the time of sale, I know without a doubt that April sold us these 2 chairs knowing that they didn't have them in stock. We purchased this brand new white leather recliner and it turned yellow. We are seasonal and used it for only 4 months and then were gone for 8 months during the warranty — at which time the warranty expired and the yellowing occurred. We had the A/C on and had the recliner covered with a white sheet while we were gone.
This company failed to replace the recliner after multiple requests. We also learned this was a one-off manufacturers defect - which is another reason they should have made this right!
We should be a valued customer as we spent thousands of dollars furnishing our place in Bradenton with FW furniture. ANY reasonable company that cares about their customers would have made this right and replaced the recliner.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING AT FURNITURE WAREHOUSE!
I want to add that IF we were to use the $250 FW gave us (for the defective merchandise) to buy the same recliner again AND we purchased the additional protection plan AND if this issue happened again, that this manufacturers defect would still not be covered and we would be stuck with another yellowing recliner that’s only a year old.

My mom needed it NOW. So we came to Furniture Warehouse. And met Eddie. Eddie, seeing my mom with her walker, quickly flipped up rugs and moved aside tables so she could pass through without stumbling. He cared about her needs. We got to the lift chairs. The smile on her face as it lowered her without pain -- I will treasure that look forever. Eddie checked the stock ("the one you want is arriving in 10 days, but let me see what I can do") and worked background magic to arrange for the exact one she wanted to be delivered and set up two days later.
