Saw that this place had pumpkin slingshot and thought it would be a great place to take the teenagers. What they don't tell you is that parking cost $2, and it's $4 to get in. ...unless you give them a 5☆ review on FB or Google. 🙄 Also, here's hoping you're not litigious, EVERYONE entering has to sign a waiver. Even if all you want to do is to look at and purchase pumpkins.
There is no way to know what pumpkin prices are. Any typical parking lot patch will have a lineup of pumpkin sizes with prices avail. Not this place! Want to know how much you'll be spending - you won't know! Haha! Also, this place (rides and ticket sales-centric) had very few staff - ahem, apologies - volunteers working.
Never did find out where the pumpkin slingshot was. There is no map of their attractions, and you have to (again) guess if you'll be in the way of their kiddie train rides that plow directly through all main paths. Oh, and the exotic scent of diesel fuel spews right at kid-face height. Funzies!
Variety and size of the pumpkins for sale was nice, so my kiddo said to give 2 stars for that. Overall, I regret letting the parking fee increase at Spina Farms deter me from going there this year. Not gonna make that...
Read moreThe best pumpkin patch in the area! Rob and the others here are truly wonderful. The popcorn is so good! I loved the corn maze, the train rides, the glitter tattoos, the gemstone mining, and the petting zoo. I have been here over 5 times in the last 3 weeks. We also get our Christmas trees from this place in December. I love everyone who runs this land. You’re all amazing and part of our family’s traditions and memories. P.S. the entitlement in some of these reviews is outrageous. anyone who writes a review complaining about prices, but spent over $2 milli on their fixer upper home around here and works in tech should really check themselves because they don’t know the first thing about the labor involved, and crews working 10+ hours days, to maintain the land. That cute photo of your kids on a hay bale? Someone hauled that hay, stacked it by hand, mowed the grass, decorated the surrounding area, and staffed the patch with wonderful people so your experience felt effortless. So say less except THANK YOU...
Read moreThe pumpkin patch is very cute, has some unique things to do, and staff are very kind. But I feel like people should know before they go how much things cost. I have posted the prices, so you can see if you’d like to spend this much, especially if you have a large family. It’s $5 each for admission alone (+$2 for parking on a weekday), and then you buy your activities a la carte or via tickets. Each ticket is $2. It is $12 to go in the corn maze. Per person. So for me and 2 kids to go in the corn maze (which isn’t much, maybe 10 min if you’re really taking your time) it cost us $36. !! Plus, the $15 to get in, and any other activities on top of that. It felt like a racket and even though the staff were kind, my kids and I left bummed. You can buy $100 for the ability to do everything, but even then, doing all the activities wouldn’t take long on a weekday. Maybe 2 hours or so. Just fair warning...
