I have a new dog. Not too long ago I had brought my dog to Petsmart in St. Cloud. He was gone a few hours for a haircut and when we got him back, literally nothing was done. This time around we brought Finnigan to Knotty Paws and what a breath of fresh air that was. You get texts when your pet is ready. The staff seem excited to see your pet again. AND its cheaper than Pet Smart. My dog looks completely different "and its awesome". He got to interact with people in a positive way as well as with other dogs. I can't stress this enough. If you are looking for a great place to get a cooler summer cut for your dog, this is the place to do it hands down. Don't waste your money somewhere like Pet Smart because its a waste. I have a bearded collie, a VERY hairy dog. After 5 attempts at grooming at another local provider, I tried Knotty Paws. The big differences: Knotty Paws spent nearly 3 hours working on my dog. It was only 2.5 weeks since his last grooming, but despite daily brushing, my dog had far too many mats for me to deal with. Previous groomers spent as little as one hour and as much as 1 3/4 hours. Instead of cutting off the mats like the previous groomers, Knotty Paws combed them out with no discernible cutting. Knotty Paws was a bit less expensive. 3 weeks out I still can’t find any new mats. We brought our recently rescued 9 month old German Shepherd here today for the works. We were hesitant to bring her in anywhere as she can be a nervous girl and takes her a bit to warm up to new situations, especially with being dropped off and picked up when done.
