Even though this store has several competent and friendly employees some are just plain rude and have less than poor customer service. One of the services we access through Kohls is their partnership for Amazon returns. In fact, sometimes we only visit Kohl’s in the first place when we have returns from Amazon. Our most recent experience was terrible. It's understandable when staffing issues prevent them from appropriately staffing the line that is sometimes there specifically to handle these returns, but on most occasions you just wait in line at customer service and they are able to help you. Again this is a partnership service they offer and advertise not that they are forced to do it. On this particular visit the customer service employee was incredibly rude and so slow to the point of simply not being suited for their role. We had a moderately larger return but were very organized with labels printed everything ready to go and be scanned it should have taken less than 30 seconds to process each item. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes we were not welcomed with a "hello how can I help you" but more of a "oh great you have a big order" expression, dialogue, and attitude. The employee sort if trash talked the entire time belittling my mother, whom took the extra steps to make sure she was prepared, organized, and convenient for the worker to do her job, and who does not have regular access to a car so can only get out when she is able to-- and right in front of my five-year-old son. Not only was she disrespectful to my adult mother inserting her own opinion where it was not requested or necessary, she did so in front of a small child, my son, who is that an impressionable age and now witnessed rudeness and disrespect to his grandmother like that. And then the employee had the gaul to blame us with our large return for her long line that we had just waited over 15/20 minutes in because she was performing her duties so slowly. And THEN on top of even that she apologized to the person waiting in line behind us, directly after serving us while we were still standing there ,for us taking so long. Jokes on her because we were previously conversing on how (we) thought that she was an inappropriate fit for the desk in the first place and how slow she was before we even got to the front of her line 10 minutes later .I am so turned off by this negative customer experience that I will not return to this location and I hope appropriate action is taken against this employee. Maybe they were having a bad day, maybe she was filling in, but they did not need to spread such negativity to three other people if not more. So what's the point. Why leave a negative review and potentially risk this employees job? The answer is this this is not the type of thing that is a one off-- this is the type of thing that Kohl’s needs to thoroughly check before they appoint someone to an area like customer service desk where customer service is in the name and should sort of be the primary function. It's not like we were doing anything wrong or illegal. We were simply completing a function within the limits set forth. I hope Kohl’s takes this review as a show of dissatisfaction, And an opportunity to improve customer relations through its employees. Not good enough Kohl's. Respect My Time...
Read moreI gave Kohls two stars only because the cashiers are nice and helpful. But the redhead store manager was very rude and acted as if she was absolutely bother with me for asking a simple question. Very rude. I was told to come in when the store opened to get an early black Friday sale item. The item was not on sale it wasn't ringing up. The sales clerk called her. I explained I was told the sale price would be honored today. Can she please check why it wasn't ringing up. She said did you bring your flyer! I said no. Well she is a store manager and had no clue what is on sale for Black Friday. She turned to go to the back office agitated to get the flyer. As she was walking away I said can you also check on another item. She turned towards me put her arms up and down to her sides slapping them to her sides. while giving a wide eyed look gesturing what else or like really!! Like visually aggregated that I bother to stop her again. I was shocked like the way a parent would look at a child and becomes aggravated when I child is nagging or asking two many questions. Very unprofessional and it is a customer service job really...
Read moreIf I could give this store negative stars I would. The customer service here is gross. Went in today with my family spent $400+ dollar to be treated like crap. I had to ask for a price on a pair of shoes because for the life of me I could not find a price checker/scanner to confirm the price of the shoes. The shoes were on a stand with other shoes of the same style and they had a few different colors that were on “sale”. The cashier said the price and I said oh wow but those shoes along with other colors of the same shoe say “sale” and a different price. She responded annoyed saying well they are adidas, as if adidas never goes on sale. The cashier just had a nasty attitude during the whole interaction it was just uncomfortable. If I hadn’t already spent the time trying on items I would have just left them there and gone somewhere else . Today was the second time I’ve had bad customer service there and I don’t go there often to shop so what are the odds? This store just gives me bad vibes I will be spending my money...
