Champaign Sports Cards — Local services in Savoy

I’ve been visiting this store since the summer, regularly buying sealed products and singles. Their prices on singles are very good, and I usually stopped by once a month or every other month to pick up a bunch. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won’t be returning.

They recently hosted a giveaway with the promotion: “Make any in-store purchase Friday–Sunday and you will be entered to win.” I came in, as usual, and bought a stack of singles. However, I wasn’t given a raffle ticket until I specifically brought it up and asked. Even then, they just handed me the ticket without asking for my name or phone number.

Later, when I saw their raffle video, it seemed like everyone else was asked to provide that information on their tickets. As a frequent customer, that left me feeling unfairly treated and overlooked. What can I say... the absolute best variety of sports, pokemon, games, comic's this side of the Mississippi!!! If Kenny doesn't have what you are looking for, then I guess you don't need it because he has nothing but top tier cards and that is what you need! Where to even start. The place is magnificent. The name of the store is misleading because it’s way more than that. They’ve got something for everyone. From garden and yard items, general decor, clothes, vintage wears, to the actual card shop and throwback collectibles. One day I bought a cast iron skillet, freshly baked Rice Krispie treat and Pokémon cards. You never know what you might find. Which leads me to the card shop. I’m a Pokemon guy, but Kenny covers all fronts when it comes to cards. Every sport, Lorcana, Pokemon and you gi oh. There’s vintage, I mean waaaay back, and the newest drops consistently. He gives the best value on trade-ins and selling cards, and he offers comics and recently added older consoles and games.
