Great park! Beautiful, large pond for fishing, with a gravel trail for jogging. Two sand volleyball courts nearby each other Pets welcomed and often seen on walks with their owners. A large hill on one side of the pond, as well.

Large playground great for kids of all all ages, including baby-parent swings and young child shallow slides, and also several really cool slides for older children, and climbing walls and monkey bars, as well. Children can also play on the nearby large, mellow chimes and drums that create a pleasant ambient sound that reminds me of wind-chimes, except lower pitched. Very beautiful place to play, usually a few people there but not too many.

There are three nice pavilions, separated from each other, with an outdoor grill each and picnic tables shaded under a roof, making this park a beautiful location for gatherings of up to about 20-30 people per pavilion. One pavilion is right next to the playground, and two are next to the large pond.

As of this writing (fall 2017), trees are still young, so the park feels wanting larger trees. Plenty of...

Absolutely gorgeous lake and walking path around it. It’s a hidden paradise I didn’t discover until living around here for several years.

It’s a perfect place to sit and think or walk around.

Several covered areas with picnic tables underneath.

Plenty of trash cans and portapottys here on 8/20/2024.

I don’t fish but it has a fishing dock.

And I would recommend bringing bug spray on a visit here because there’s lots of flying insects like mosquitos etc around the lake.

Also has a giant hill in part of park, not sure if it’s for sledding it’s pretty steep.

And it’s near the airport and near train tracks so you get pretty views of planes taking off and of trains going past.

Sometimes phone/data signal isn’t that great out here, as a heads up.

It also has cornhole/bag throwing area

And outdoor...

Incredible park! A massive playground that's got all sorts of slides and nick nacks for the kids to play with. Plentiful amounts of swings from very young to adults. Incredible amount of open land to do whatever you want. There is all kinds of stuff for kids to climb on and around. There is also smaller playground for the younger children. There is a beautiful pond you can fish or walk around. Volleyball courts that are currently being redone. There are 2 covered awnings with like 6 tables and 2 grills. At one of them has 2 permanently mounted cornhole boards. Then the year round crowd favorite is the massive man made hill. It has 4 sides of different gradients. Literally have spent hours upon hours...

This is perhaps one of the BEST parks I’ve honestly ever been to!!! There’s a musical part, a kids learning part with educational things on the floor for them to follow and do. They are been engage to think, and learn while walking etc! That’s amazing. Learning can and should be fun! It’s clean and pretty quiet honestly. I really believe that EVERY city should invest in this. We as a culture have to be able to engage the next generation to tap into there gifts and talents. And what better way to do that by creating an environment that has resources to help them discover those gifts and talents. Kudos to UnitedHealth and the city of Savoy for leading the way is making our world a better place than we found it.

A fairly decent park with a pond that allows for catch and release fishing. There's a handful of covered eating areas and grills. For the small ones, there's a playground with a discovery walk aimed at the young and young at heart. The park has a small hill that allows for a decent view of Savoy, Champaign and the surrounding area. Future expansion plans include a short trail.
