Oh, my bad experience was actually when it was owned by Friedmans. I is under different ownership and I've had nothing but positive experiences since the change over. My negative experience with them was that they sold discounted lunch meat, chipped ham, at 80% off. I bought 10 pounds to help cater a charity event. I went to use it 20 minutes after I purchased it and it was spoiled. Youcouldnt tell it was spoiled because something was sprayed on it. The meat had a very noxious chemical taste to it and after a few minutes you could smell that it was spoiled. Id like to note that nothing approximating a negative experience has been had since it became Sprankles. A great addition to a great community! From there fresh deli rolls, to there great produce selection, this store has so much to offer. They have some very nice looking bakery items of there own and also offer some of the delicious goodies from the local bakery, The Mainstreet Bake Shop. Their hot foods in the deli offer a very nice selection of fried chicken and some other very tasty looking food. They have a very impressive selection of fresh meat. They also have a fresh sushi bar with a very helpful and friendly sushi chef and a local micro brewery. No waiting in line here. The employees are quick to open the next checkout lane to keep a line from forming, and are very helpful in making sure you have found everything you needed. This is a very nice grocery store. I was very surprised when I walked in here I half expected it to not be very nice. But they had a lot of produce that didn't look bad at all, some good looking meats, especially the beef sticks I bought me some of them.. very good. They had a good amount of everything else you would find at a grocery store. They even had an item I have to go out of town to find that I'm not gonna name cause once you find a good thing and people know about it, it usually disappears. But let me just say I would come back here anyway time just to do some shopping and I live in Butler not saxonburg lol I am definitely glad I stopped here after my walk...
