Church of the Good Shepherd — Local services in Schertz

Due to Covid-19 and the fact that I was in limbo to find solutions as the options were limited ( in Guadalupe County ) I found myself in dire need of assistance. I was more than at wits end. I was directed to Good Shepherd. They pretty much welcomed me with open arms. I already been through more than I can take and they made it all change for the better. I was out of water, and electric and it had gotten shut down. I had no one else to turn too. I as at the point of literally not figuratively loosing all my sanity, but then they gave me the help I needed. I also had a issue due to the no electric where I was afraid my food would go bad. No one would hold my food or take it from me. They found me a solution for that as well. In my opinion , they are angels sent to me by god. This for me is not something I say lightly at all. Father O doesn’t want to connect with the parishioners. He appears to only want to give a mass and get out of the building. Very rarely will he greet parishioners after mass. Poor money is mismanaged. A new addition to the church was proposed for $600,000, and four years later, no construction started, and costs have ballooned to $1 million. Office staff and committees are a do-nothing team of volunteers led by leads who have no clue. Office staff Justine thinks she runs the place and won’t listen to anyone who offers suggestions. Horrible experience with a very ornery gentleman that kicked us off the church parking lot. We were just trying to conduct a meeting for the new sidewalk that we were putting in for the city of Schertz (which is gonna benefit said church) I truly hope this man has nothing to do with the actual church leadership. It did not paint a nice picture nor leave us with a good impression of this place if they have people like that in positions...
