Already planning my return trip! The food here was delicious! I had the P6 Steak Pho (Pho Thai), A1 Summer Rolls (Goi Cuon Tom) and a Pepsi (I'm a coke girl but it will do).
The spring rolls were super fresh and came with a great dipping sauce. You can totally tell if they try to make these much ahead of time as the rice paper gets chewy quickly. These were fresh and yummy! Three large rolls to an order and perfectly shareable! If you don't inhale them all yourself, which I guarantee you will want to.
I am by no means a Pho expert but I love a good bowl especially as Fall sets in and the weather cools down. The broth is very aromatic and has so many different flavors. The depth is definitely there and you can tell a lot of time and effort is put into creating this great broth. If this step is skipped it's the kiss of death for any Pho restaurant. The steak to noodles ratio was above average compared to other Pho restaurants I have been to and the side plate with bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, lime and jalapenos was super fresh. No brown spots on the basil which is a personal pet peeve of mine since I basically put every bit in my Pho. I love the info sheet at the table giving tips on how to customize your Pho specifically for your tastes. Great touch!
Honestly I have a big appetite and I couldn't finish it. I took half of it home.
The staff was so friendly and came to check on us. Ryan Tran came out and greeted our large party and was more than welcoming. Very glad to see non-chain restaurants in the area and happy to support them when the food is good. This is definitely one for the top of the list!
Can't wait to go back and try the Banh Mi and Bun (another favorite). The place was spotless and everything we needed was at our fingertips. None of the condiment bottles were sticky which is another pet peeve of mine. Service was...
Read moreI've been here twice, I recently decided to give it a second chance. They have a good atmosphere and cleanliness but the food quality really needs work. I wish I could say it was moderately good but to be honest it was subpar. The bar is set high for Vietnamese cuisine by the likes of A Dong and Heavenly Pho who I've given 5 stars to each.
3 Pho Bowl 09 will likely struggle if they're not already doing so if they are unable to keep up with other VN/Asian eateries nearby such as Siam Cuisine, Thai Spice, Thai O'Cha, A Dong (forum location), and dare I say Pho 4 Star who I am not too fond of either.
I got an appetizer and an entree. Here are the issues I had with the food.
Appetizer: Meat was slightly undercooked which is bad when it comes to pork or chicken. Furthermore, it was not made with Vietnamese rice paper, when it's meant to be made with VN Rice paper.
Entree (Beef vermicelli): Missing components (Peanuts, and I had to ask for fish sauce), Meat was room temp and extremely oily, rice noodles were overcooked. Flavor was confusingly sweet and the beef was only charred a little bit. The flavor of the meat was just not there for me, it was like dessert meat lol.
So sorry to leave a negative review - I encourage the owner to help kitchen staff step their game up. It's Friday night, I went in the early evening and saw there was only 1 person seated.
To the owner, as someone who eats VN food at least once a week, my advice is to get that food quality up to par of what Vietnamese folks would expect. I encourage you to visit A Dong and really take in the experience from a culinary perspective. Thanks for reading sorry for the long post...just trying to help instead of unjustifiably leaving a negative review without any constructive feedback.

Read moreBeen here a few times Nad it was outstanding as always. I really like the V5 Bun Cha Gio (Vermicelli with Vietnamese Spring Roll) and I ask them to add some grilled pork as well. Their grilled meat is cooked when you order it and it hot and full of a smoky flavor from the grill and the seasonings. I've also had their Pho and it's also top notch. I usually get the P4 - Pho Tai Bo Vien (Noodle, beef broth, beef steak, and meatball). Vietnamese meatballs are weird but I really like them. One of the best treats here are the Goi Cuon Tom (Summer rolls). They make them with freshly grilled meat and the rest is cold so the contrast of hit and cold just makes the dish pop in your mouth. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and will help you pick. They have a verity of Chinese dishes but I haven't tried them yet. They also serve Boba Tea and Cafe So Da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee). If you want good Vietnamese food I suggest...
