Eh. Prices are more competitive for the same items on ebay..I literally compared prices while in the store and found no deal but actually things were slightly overpriced vs online... I can see this place being a big deal to visit back in the day before online shopping was a thing, but now you can save your gas and save some money by shopping online for the same things in new condition and for the same or cheaper price. But if you are looking for something that is used and one of a kind...like jewelry...then it may be worth the trip to visit. We drove 3 hrs each way and I made purchases on knick knacks but left feeling like it was overrated....like the hype from peers left me feeling "eh" about my actual experience there. I'll probably never go back...my mom convinced me to go as it was her 2nd visit and she said the 2nd time wasn't as great as her 1st experience there..she said it seemed like just another thrift store in any neighborhood...but extra crowded..she said she would not return either..but the people were nice. Read moreThe place is clean and appealing to the eye, for it's type of business. They have really expanded the area for women's apparel and accessories. Other than a few items, most mens apparel and accessories are in a different building on the property.
My chief criticism is that they have raised their prices to the point that it's really not such a bargain anymore. Yes, you can still find the occasional bargain, but the majority of items are now close to retail price. I don't know about you, but for myself I would choose to purchase a newer item with the warranty included. However, some items that may be special due to a number of criteria, ie not made/sold anymore ect, then if you find the item, definitely consider purchasing.
It is still worth a visit as one may find the occasional item that can be illusive to find.
