Tokyo Japan Hibachi and Sushi — Restaurant in Scottsboro

This is not a luxury dining establishment, but has good, no frills, VERY reasonably priced food with BIG portions. The Godzilla roll is about 12 bucks, but is deep fried goodness, absolutely massive, and tasty! Is it an authentic Japanese experience? No. Will you find an omakase option or kaiseki dining? No. But for about 7 bucks you can get a massive plate of good "sesame" chicken (a sweet teriyaki type sauce here), vegetables, and fried rice. I've been coming here for years, and still pop in every time I'm in Scottsboro. Think mall "Japanese" food, but tastier, cheaper, and bigger. I'm sure I'll be back in a few months for...

Some of my family & I ate here last night. Someone was mopping the floor while we were eating. This has been the second (2nd) time that this has happened to us. Their food is delicious, but I implore all to refrain from sitting in & dining here within an hour or so of their closing time, as this could lead to someone getting hurt by slipping on a wet floor, falling, & perhaps (God forbid) breaking a hip, arm, etc.. We ate around 7:00 p.m.. (19:00)

Not the best sushi I've ever had but definitely worth your money. A lot of bang for your buck as opposed to diving all the way to Chattanooga or Huntsville and spending twice and much, plus time and fuel. I actually like this better than the sushi place over by Walmart. Cheaper and tastes better.
