Ate here the first time today while miling around in Scottsboro. How have I not tried this before was what I was thinking. Food was great. I had a philly steak & onion rings and wife had a shrimp poboy and onion rings. Mine was great but hers looked even better so I'll be trying it next time and working my way through the menu. We both enjoyed our meal. Server was friendly and food came out very fast and very hot. It was around 1:30 local time so a bit after the lunch hour. The place is clean and roomy. This will be a new goto spot when I'm in Scottsboro now. Oh and prices were reasonable too compared to comprable places. The deserts at the counter looked great but I'm watching my intake so had to skip them. Someday I'll have to try one of their homemade fried pies.
Follow up. I had to deduct some stars on service. Just ate here for my 3rd or 4th time last weekend. It was 1:00 PM on Friday so not real busy. I got a shrimp basket and my wife got a poboy and onion rings. Food came fast and was OK. My shrimp was a little greasy and onion rings overcooked/dark which I had not experienced here before as it is usually better. Even so it was still good in spite of that. and I was willing to overlook that. I had told the waitress as a heads up when ordering I was ordering a dessert too. She said she could bring it later so I said OK. We were both going to try the pecan cobbler. Waitress never came back while we were eating. Not once. Then after we finished eating we waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come back so we could get that dessert on the way. Finally had to flag another waitress down to get our check. Just decided to forget dessert and leave after paying. Also our waitress never came back once to refill drinks or anything. So service was awful this time. I may go try it again eventually but it won't be any time soon. Too many other choices. It's a shame because the food is good. At the time I counted 5 tables including ours with customers at them. And I counted a minimum of 4 waiting tables plus one a the bar. So it's not like anyone was spread thin. Once I had my initial order never saw that waitress again even up to checking out. And last time I left like a 30% tip because I enjoyed it. Not this time. It was proportional to the service. This makes me tempted to never go back. If I experience this again that will be it for me. It...
Read moreIf a bouncer, on their own (not at an employer’s direction), assaults a person who is a patron of a bar or club, the bouncer can be sued by the patron for the patron’s injuries. The patron can assert a claim of civil assault or battery. It might also be possible to sue the establishment that employs the bouncer on a theory of negligent hiring, negligent retention, or negligent supervision. The patron could also report the incident to the police for criminal prosecution as assault and battery. I know all of this as I was a police officer previously and acquired a degree in criminal justice.
LARRY JEFFERY, and I will not stop saying his name to anyone I come in contact with ASSAULTED me at Warehouse 207. I am putting this information out publicly for anyone else who may have fallen victim to assault at this establishment.
I was assaulted at this establishment and I want to let other people know that this is not okay or lawful. I have had a persistent neck pain since I was assaulted by Larry Jeffery, due to his size and force. The incident occurred while I was standing still with arms at my sides and I was not speaking. I was yanked off my feet by my neck and choked with my feet off the ground and slammed by my neck onto the ground. It did not stop there. While I was on the ground the bouncer continued to choke me to point where I was in fear of my life.
After the incident occurred the establishment tried to lie and create a narrative that fit what they wanted it to be. Although there are many eye witnesses and testimonies on my behalf.
I would like to also give background on myself. I weigh 140 pounds. The man who assaulted me looked to be 300 pounds. You can see the clear issue here. He had no right or reason to handle himself the way he did.
I am not sure if this is acceptable in some people’s eyes, but obviously the ownership of Warehouse 207 allows people like Larry Jeffery to work for their business and assault women.
Regardless of if this review and my future steps make a big difference, if it at least saves one person from visiting this place I feel accomplished. I feel like I deserve to be heard.
Larry Jeffery made a young woman like myself feel powerless and scared.
With all that being said, I don’t recommend visiting Warehouse 207, and I hope this reaches the...

I am not much for writing reviews on places, especially negative ones.
I was out with some friends at Warehouse last year and had a very negative experience. I never took it to social media or reviews. We just filed a report with the local police department. Larry Jeffery is a bouncer at Warehouse 207. He put his hands on a woman less than half his size to get her out of the bar. Putting his hands around her neck and slamming her to the ground, which another bouncer “helped.” Claiming she was having bad behavior, but all he had was bad attitude and agenda. It was unacceptable. A simple “can you leave?” would have sufficed if there were issues on their side.
Sad to write this experience as I have enjoyed my food when visiting this establishment with family and me and my friends spent around $100 in there last night on drinks amongst us all, only to be asked to step outside and speak with the owner accompanied by police when we were respectful our entire time there last night (had already been there 2+ hours) and came back to hopefully have a better experience. My friend’s grandmother and mom wanted a night out and we thought we would visit again and give it a second chance. Only to see this woman abuser still works there and told his boss to have us to leave. The owner claimed he watched video footage from last year, but they claimed last year that they had no cameras in the establishment and that is why they had nothing to show police. Plus the owner wasn’t even sure who he was attempting to ask to leave, as the footage (if any) was deleted before police ever showed up that night I am sure to cover face.
I have lived in Scottsboro my whole life, I am a school teacher, and a very respectable person. It is sad that Warehouse 207 allows men like this to work in their establishment. Apparently, this is not the only run in the police have had with Larry. To no surprise based on his behavior.
I will be writing bad reviews on every possible platform and making sure that anyone I know won’t be back...
