Have had a somewhat new delivery person for a few months now and no less than once a week my neighbors bring my mail that was delivered to them or vice versa. She delivers sometimes at 7:00/8:00 at night, not packages, regular mail. I understand folks these days can’t live without their phones, and while she is hands free, I can’t help but wonder if she could do her job effectively if she was concentrating on address and not on her conversations! She is ALWAYS having a conversation when she comes to my mailbox. I have been patient and showed grace because she was “new” to the route but no more! She delivered my mail around 6:45, came back about 7:00 and left packages, there was supposed to be 3, she left 2 and tracking says all 3 delivered. So who got my other package? All this and we haven’t even got into the Christmas season yet!
Since the original post we have received the neighbors mail several times and neighbors have brought us ours. This is the second time we have been waiting on bank documents. First time had to start the process over again for me, now looks like we will have to start again for my husband! Is there anyone with the post office paying attention? Do they not have a responsibility? Do they care that missing mail can potentially screw up peoples lives? Can you sue the post office for damages?...
Read moreThey plainly do not like to do their job and have no respect for other people’s mail and property… today for example, delivered an empty Amazon bag that was open from the side and the product was missing ((still trying to figure out if they are the ones that stole it)) Plus they had the audacity to make sure to write down that they delivered it to my mailbox, which by the way, this is the first time in 5 years that they have done that. But It is NOT the first time they have messed with our mail and packages.. at least this is not the most unethical thing they have done to us so far.. They left my college diploma in the ground and dogs got to it and ripped it apart, they have broken our mailbox, delivered our personal mail to multiple houses on our street and we have received mail from other neighbors as well, I have tried to get in contact with them but they just tell me that the person that deals with complaints isn’t there or that I need to call somewhere else. I’ll leave a picture of the EMPTY PLASTIC BAG they delivered and...
Read moreI had written a negative review the other week that I am now so embarrassed and ashamed of, that instead of editing it, I decided to delete it for a new review. I had been under the impression that they had completely lost a package I had sent from Pennsylvania. However, it turned out that the error was on my sister's and my end all along. She had given me her neighbor's address the last time I mailed something to her, because she was leaving for the hospital to give birth to my nephew. Apparently her neighbor isn't good with checking his mail if he's not specifically watching for something, and my "lost" package had been sitting in his mailbox for a month. I'm just so grateful that it was found, as the two blankets I'd had made custom for my niece and nephew; I had been so upset. If anybody from this office is reading this, please accept my deepest apologies. And the lady who called me to investigate what had happened was so incredibly courteous and professional; God bless you for that! Thank you all soooo much! Again,...
