Hooper's Landing Golf Course — Local services in Seaford

Played for the first time. It's a good course with some interesting holes. The fairways on one side of the road are going to be redone (at least that's what I heard from the guy at the pro shop). For this reason, they are purposely letting the grass either die or at least stay dormant. It's all brown and dried out. You can actually hit the ball off it pretty well. My only complaint is the ball was running forever and good tee shots ended up running through fairways and into trouble spots, whereas the green grass on the other side of the road didn't have this problem and played more true. Visited here to play a round of 18 alone while my partner was at a conference. Staff were friendly and attentive. The course was good. Nothing great to write home about but a good and leisure 18. The greens are very fast and deceiving but the fairways are sponges. Where your ball drops on a fairway is where it will stick. Those relying on rolling an extra 15-20 yards on your shot....don't count on it here.

If you are from the Baltimore, MD area then I would describe this course as if Mt. Pleasant and Clifton Park courses decided to have a child.

Would go again and play. Terrific slower pace course...

Course is very over priced to be in that poor of condition. If the course is in such poor of a condition should at least be told at clubhouse and given some sort of discount. Greens were awful mostly sand with very few patches of grass. Looks like it was just aerated and when you try to putt your ball just bounces all over the place. Bunkers had water in them.
