Modern Aviation BFI — Local services in Seattle

I can't say enough about Clay Lacy Aviation--all of it good. I was lucky enough to have a private flight in the "Sharknado" plane (a Kodiak) with pilot/aerial photographer Long (he's a great pilot and maybe even better photographer). The crew that fueled the plane and helped me buckle in was really polite and pleasant. I got confused by the seatbelt and they didn't make fun of me at all! Even the reception desk was full of helpful and friendly faces.

Our pilot knew the most scenic route for that particular day. We took off at 8pm and got to watch the sunset around the mountains--easily the most breathtaking views I have experienced. Safety was clearly at the front of mind for everyone, and I (normally an apprehensive passenger) felt great the whole time.

We have been flying into Kenmore but this week had a mechanical issue that I thought could delay us for at least a half day or more. I walked to Clay Lacy on the off chance they could help us. They immediately summoned Emmett Esmond who was familiar with our plane, he dropped everything, came over to Kenmore and in an hour we were on our way. Thanks Emmett.
