Really frustrating experience with this company. After purchasing our Groupon for a flight, I called to schedule a time to go while we were visiting Seattle. I called multiple times, left several voicemails and was not called back for days (we purchased the tickets after reading reviews that this company does a great job squeezing you in for your vacation). After finally getting a call back I spoke with the most unenthusiastic girl, but she was able to schedule us in during the time frame we needed which was appreciated! Not even 24 hours before our flight I got a call from the same girl saying the flight had to be canceled due to maintenance issues (totally understandable!) Unfortunately she was even less interested than before, perhaps just flat out rude. She didnt apologize and when we couldn't reschedule didn't offer any compensation. When I asked how we could get our money refunded I was told that I needed to contact Groupon, which again is perfectly understandable but some level of apology or responsibility for the situation really could have saved this experience.

Wouldn't recommend this company. If that is how you're treated before you even fly, I can't imagine what it would be...

I used a Groupon for Helicopters Northwest earlier this year during the summertime and back in 2018. The first time was with my Wife. The second time was with my Mother and Father-in-law.

The company is solid with nice employees and pilots. If you have never flown in a helicopter, I highly recommend it. The feeling of when you first take off is a very surreal experience.

If you are afraid of heights, I can reassure you that it isn’t as bad as you might think. I have skydived and gone in a hot air balloon. This isn’t too bad. One way I could see someone getting anxiety is if they lacked faith in the pilot. But don’t worry, the amount of flight hours they have at Helicopters Northwest is above and beyond.

They allowed my son to sit in one while my wife was watching him during our flight. If you opt for a Groupon deal, you can pay extra for the longer flight options. They are 20min. 30min. And 45min. Rides. The longer the ride, the farther up the coast you go. The longest one takes you to the falls.

This company is not very efficient in terms of communication, scheduling, and service. I bought the Groupon in July. Called immediately to schedule a flight, but I was told I couldn't schedule October flights until August 1st. So, I waited until mid August and I was told this time that the pilots had not opened times for the date I needed. Called again in early September and was given the same reason, and the woman on the phone was not helpful or interested in helping. It wasn't until the last week of September that I was able to make a reservation. 12th of October and there is over cast, got a call at 0830 that our 1000 was going to be rescheduled, however the rest of the day was booked up. I asked for the next day and nothing as well. Go with another company. They have no contingency plan other than "reschedule" with no...
