My husband and I decided it was time to leave PBC for a more laid back environment. We had friends move to Sebastian and recommend we meet with both a realtor and a few local builders before we made any final decisions on a home. Our experience with Ameron Homes started because Bill was the only builder to return our call. As they say, first impressions tell a lot! We met with Bill to discuss what we were looking for and he then showed us several models that Ameron could build. He also took us to see a home currently in progress so we could see the quality of the construction and get a feel for the layout. I think we were partly sold at that point!! Having been in the business for almost 30 years, Bill's knowledge of construction was evident as he answered every question we threw at him. We met with a realtor the next day to look at existing homes and compared them all to the Ameron home and the features offered. It goes without saying that we always came back to the Ameron home. Coming from a home on 1.11 acres in Jupiter and wanting to bring our boat, we were concerned with fitting a house and boat pad on a .25 acre lot. Bill assured us it would not be an issue as he has done this many times. Needless to say, with some adjustments and changes, everything worked out perfectly. Let me just say that from the beginning, Bill has been nothing short of impressive and fun to work with! He said working with him would be easy and I can honestly say he was right. Bill answered every question and/or concern we had, returned all phone calls or text messages, allowed changes we requested and kept us updated as to the progress at all times. As we began bringing boxes to storage in Sebastian, this allowed us to see the progress first hand and watch our home being built. As we got closer to the end, we realized how lucky we were to deal with a builder that puts the customer first, and that we were able to meet or speak to various contractors involved in building our home. I can honestly say that everyone involved was wonderful and a joy to deal with especially Family Rock!! And a huge thank you to Tina in the office for always taking time to answer our questions and staying on top of things. As an accountant, I can tell you that having someone like Tina handle and keep up with everything is priceless! We also had the pleasure of meeting Todd as he managed our final walk through, and I am happy to say that he addressed all last minute things that came up with efficiency and ease.....another fine example of dealing with people while getting the job done. To say that Ameron Homes is just another local builder is an understatement for sure. I have heard stories from friends and my own clients that built homes all over and they are all envious of the experience we had with Bill and Ameron. We not only had the pleasure of watching our new home being built by wonderful people, but feel we made new friends in the process. We will always be thankful to Bill, Todd and Tina for an amazing experience and knowing they will always be available for any reason is another thing that sets them apart from other builders...this again is priceless. Also hearing that some people are living in their 2nd home built by Ameron speaks volumes for the quality of the home and the people at Ameron. If you find yourself looking to build in the general area, Ameron Homes should be your first and only choice. They have been in business for 30 plus years for obvious reasons - professionalism, honesty, a quality product which they back for years and good ole fashion kindness that you don't see much anymore. We would not trade our experience with Bill and Ameron Homes for anything.....TY Bill for a job...

A few years ago, when our little puppy was struck by a car on our busy street, we decided to look for a quieter neighborhood (my wife was 6 months pregnant at the time). Thus began the process of finding the "right place". We searched and searched, and 3.5 years later, we finally found the PERFECT location for us (we really were looking).

We met with 2 custom builders in person and 1 on the phone. The one on the phone straight out told me that if I wasn't building a $2MM+ home, that they didn't want our business (hence why we never bothered to meet with them in person). Even though the 2 we met with in person were very nice and had good ideas, my gut told me that they were not the right fit for us. The search continued until we met with Bill at Ameron Homes. Upon meeting with him, my wife and I had NO DOUBTS that they were our choice for building our "dream home". That term "dream home" gets thrown around a lot by realtors in listings; however, after spending almost 4 years looking for the "right place" and then drawing out the plans for EXACTLY what we wanted, it truly is our "dream home".

Everyone at Ameron is at the peak of their game (Bill, Todd, Rick, Dan, and Tina [who I probably drove crazy with my endless questions...but who ALWAYS responded quickly]). I was never left in the shadows. Not only did I meet everyone at Ameron, but I also got to interact with nearly all the sub-contractors that came out to the house (some of them whom I still continue to reach out to for advice on personal projects).

I'm hesitant to say this next piece, because I don't want to set the bar too high; but I will: they knew and understood my personal needs/circumstances and got me into the house in less than 7 MONTHS...WOW!!! (permitting time not included).

Throughout the process, if something needed tweaking, there were no hesitations to appease us. Bill and Tina either answered our calls immediately or returned them in a matter of just a few minutes (very fast).

We could not be happier with the choice we made! Truthfully (and I mean this), my only regret is not having chosen them for the 2 prior homes I had built in Sebastian over the previous 20 years.

If you took the time to read this entire review, do NOT choose your builder without first meeting with Bill at Ameron. He is not only professional, but personal as well...and "YOU ARE THE BOSS" (something that Bill constantly said to me).

*I don't think I'll be moving from this house any time soon (if ever); but if I do and it's in this area, there is ZERO DOUBT, that I'd be building with Ameron again!
