Just moved to the area, first time visiting. Only a few people in the big dog area, we were alone in the small dog area.
Fly traps hanging in the trees were full, but I was glad they were there, nice touch to try to keep flying insects down. We went late in the day for temp cool down, but because it is adjacent to the water, mosquitos were making their attendance known.
Chain link fence between littles and bigs has seen better days, but it still does its job, just need to be attentive. My own little tried to remove it because he wanted to go play with the bigs, but I quickly told him no and he moved on.
Fence line is a beat down path between sections. My dog was heavily covered in dirt upon leaving, but he appeared to have a good time and got some off leash run time in.
Poo bags available, but not all use them so use caution Water available, some bowls, water fountain, and a hose. (Full sized doggo side also had a plastic kiddie pool)
Nice park, serves...
Read moreThis is a lovely little park to take your dog for exercise and socialization. It has fenced-in areas for larger and smaller dogs (under 25 lbs). There are picnic tables and a restroom. There are receptacles for bags and for disposal of those bags. There is a water fountain, to provide water for your pet. It appeared that they had a bowl in each area with water already in it. The only negative thing I can say about this Park, is that it is very difficult to find. There is a sign, on Sebastian Boulevard that indicates a dog park, but unless you have a GPS, there are no further directions to the to the dog Park. It is located in a very residential area, which I thought was kind of an unusual place to have a dog Park. Nevertheless, once you find it, if you find it, you will love it and so...
Read moreWill NEVER be back after the experience had today. My dog was minding own business doing HIS thing when 3 other dogs approached and teamed up on him. As I tried to pull him away from the fighting that was going on the 3 other owners stood back and watched their dogs attack MY DOG AND I, not saying a word or even lifting their voice. Nobody offered to help or get control of THEIR animals - they stood back and watched like nothing was happening. Once I was able to get MY dog up and out of the fighting, he had been bit multiple times on his neck and through his ear completely, resulting in an emergency vet visit to get him taken care of and MYSELF with a wound to the...
