I've been shopping at Luke's for 30 years plus. Stopped in there yesterday to get a few things for dinner. Went to the checkout and after swiping my card a couple times it didn't work. This new lady with short dark hair said quote type your numbers in I don't have all day. I didn't have my glasses with me and obviously that didn't work for me either. For the first time ever I left my items behind. Don't think I was ever so embarrassed in my life. The meat counter is without a doubt the highlight of the store. While it has shrunk in size over the years, fresh quality meats are available at reasonable prices.
