Was quoted widely differing prices by multiple sales people, and was told they wouldn’t match the price listed on the Ashley Furniture website. When I asked why they wouldn’t match the online price, the first salesman said the price listed online was “basically cost, and wouldn’t give him a good enough margin”. The second saleswoman I spoke with quoted me a much lower price for the merchandise, but a higher price for delivery! When I questioned the discrepancy, she said she’d have to have the first salesman call me back, because “they don’t undercut each other because they can’t have that tension in their store.” She ended up calling me back and offered a price higher than her original quote. We got the dresser only to find out we got two of the same pieces which makes it impossible to put together. We contacted them and were told on a Sunday it would get shipped out on Monday and here by Wednesday so it would be here for the family. Contacted them every day since we got no confirmations that it was being shipped out. Called on Wednesday and they said they can’t ship it out until the following Monday. “Otis” (not sure of the salesman’s name) was kind enough to help load my truck (even though it wasn’t his job since the warehouse staff was not available) and was courteous and personable. We had a few laughs about our dogs & it was a pleasant experience.
