LeConte Medical Center — Local services in Sevierville

They are awful. They were really bad to my husband (I'm Timothys wife) who came in an ambulance. They did one xray, which was not at all the reason he came in. An they just released him at 1:30 in the morning, he tried to call taxis no answer, he's asked people and of course people Said no. The hospital said they can't give him any Numbers or any help getting home. So he is gonna have to try to sleep in the lobby tonight. I have the money for a taxi but he couldn't get anyone to answer. Now at 1:30 he's gonna start walking home from leconte to Gatlinburg. Any hospital if they release you after you coming in, in an ambulance then they usually give you a taxi voucher. Omg Morristown is better than Sevierville. That's bad.So leconte is not a good place to go. They don't really care for their patients at all. They only care about money they can make an from what I saw doctors an nurses playing in their phones. They really don't care. The people that work there, they are in the wrong profession. I have came here for pneumonia twice before an still had to go to urgent care...

Had a 1st time Dr appt.....waited 2 1/2 hours.....month or so later. Dr Disappeared The LeConte Cardiologist the above Dr referred me to, wanted me off a medicine prescribed to me and he wanted me on a new medicine that the co-pays exceeded the cost of ALL my other meds combined. He also tried to get me on a prescription drug for fish oil that would have cost me $1200/yr. My new Cardiologist at Covenant Health could not find any reason I should be on that med at all....been off of it for 3 years. Scheduled to LeConte for an ultrasound....they were to call me, 2 weeks later I pestered them and finally got scheduled. Apparently, they did the wrong ultrasound and now I need to go back. tried to call them for an appt and no way to leave a message, the recording just loops and leaves u in nowhereland.

Edit: After all of this they suddenly told me they didnt take my insurance so i will now being paying for everything out of pocket. The lady told me it went through and even support wont do anything. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Went here for rib pain and an xray. Had to stay for 4 hours with no staff communication. After all of that the nurse said she was going to prescribe me an anti inflammatory then got sassy with me when i tried to leave. She told me they were going to give me an anti inflamitory and a steroid but After i got the papers to sign she took any prescription she WAS going to give replacing it with telling me to...
