I would prefer to rate this a zero actually. I made an appointment for my 3 and 5 year old boys to have a haircut. I showed up 5 minutes before the appointment with my 1,3,and 5 year old as I had to bring the little one unfortunately. Due to COVID19 precautions I was told the kids had to wear masks, which I understand. I told one of the stylists upon entering my name and she acknowledged me. I waited for 20 minutes and no one said a thing to me. I then asked the same woman who greeted me upon entrance if I needed to wait in the car with my kids due to COVID precautions, she said no. After 30 minutes of waiting in the lobby trying to get my kids to sit and wear masks I got up again and asked why it was taking so long when my appointment was 30 minutes prior. The same woman asked my name again and then told me I did not have an appointment. I told her I did as I had scheduled one the previous day. The owner of the place then comes up and says she does recall the phone conversation taking place and that I did schedule an appointment. She offered for me to come back another day...and that was it. After 30 minutes of me waiting with 3 kids...one of which who was excited to get a haircut for his 6th birthday I was told I could just come back another time. There was even a stylist that had been there the entire time with no clients..didnāt even offer to cut the kids hair, not once. Didnāt offer me a discount..nothing. I believe this is absolutely unacceptable. They were not apologetic and quite frankly acted like they really didnāt care about the fact that I had been there wrangling children into wearing face masks and promising birthday haircuts. I will say after I left another stylist that wasnāt working there called me and said it was her fault and she accidentally scheduled me on the wrong day and that if I wanted to come when she was working she would cover the cuts. I thanked her for her apology and understand people are human and make mistakes, but the way I was treated as a customer, mother, human being was unacceptable and I will not be returning. I will not recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't even know where to start. I went in for a TRIM and some long layers to give my hair some shape after explaining to Donna that I had been trying desperately to grow my own hair out for over two years after having extensions. I told her that because I had tried so hard to grow my own hair out that I did NOT want to lose any length, but instead just wanted some long layers for shape. I thought all had gone well as I was sitting down and had a hoodie on, which pushed my hair up a bit on the sides a bit but found it a little odd that she didn't show me the back. The front and sides looked good after she blew it out. It really did. So I paid and left. It was only after I got home and looked at the back that I realized that half of my length in the back was gone. I just cried. To make matters worse, it isn't even EVEN. My regular stylist who I reached out to to see what I could do with it also pointed out that it wasn't even on the sides either. I paid $60 for a haircut only to have to go and pay AGAIN to have someone else try to correct it. She's literally RUINED my hair. Despite my reaching out to Donna (the owner and the woman who ruined my hair) MULTIPLE TIMES, she has refused to respond or even reply to my messages. RUN. DO. NOT. WALK. These people will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated Review: 10/08/2024 I encountered a surprise today at Traditions Salon. The place had been remodeled and looked fabulous! The entrance way was much more open and inviting. There were new seats in the reception area. The styling stations were more spread out and looked fantastic. My stylist, Deanna, did a great job in cutting my hair and styling it, along with doing my boyfriend's hair. She is an excellent stylist. I highly recommend Deanna.
