Olentangy Valley Centre Shopping Center — Local services in Sharon Township

Took awhile for me to drive here due to GPS safu, take Route 315, NOT Olentangy River Road, North bound. We decided to dine at TOMATILLO'S for Cinco de Mayo.... Knowing they'd be busy.... They were! Inside was quite LOUD, but diners were enjoying themselves. When we were notified of our turn to be seated, we opted for the quieter PATIO - ample room. It was a bit chilly, but ok. Immediately, staff brought Chips and Salsa! They did so THREE TIMES= YUM! Once our orders were taken, staff SWIFTLY brought our meals... Considering just how busy they were, all employees worked quickly and efficiently together to serve us. AMAZING and grateful. Our orders ranged from Diablo Chicken, various Burritos, to Enchiladas. All were pleased with their meals, even the children (they do have a children's menu). The food is delicious... Look and taste authentic! A wide selection of beverages offered, many flavors of margaritas, many beers and cocktails as well. For the quantity and quality of food per plate, prices very reasonable: many $12.95. We're anxious to return... Warmer weather. Seems a wonderful place to have a margarita, sit on this patio, and enjoy the wanning sunlight of a warmer...

The shopping mall (strip mall) was recently remodeled. The remodel was needed and paid off. the Centre looks great. The mall is anchored by one of my favorite grocery stores, Hills Market. Note here: Hills delivers. The market has the best wine selection in town and also has a liquor store that isn't a separate entity from the actual store. I love their meat counter and butcher shop, too. My bestie loves their meatloaf.

In the winter, the Hills has wine tasting events. In the summer, there is an outdoor grill with fabulous offerings. As soon as the weather warms up, Hills will host events like hog roasts. Hills is a great place for gifts, because you can select items that they will wrap in a gift basket for you.

The restaurants in the mall are Subway, Massey's Pizza, and at the end of the strip, the Rusty Bucket.

There's also a nail salon, Rejuvenate Nail Spa. I've used the nail salon on several occasions and have always received excellent service at a fair price.

Unfortunately, the parking lot is small but additional parking is available nearby...

This is a simple shopping center. Not very successful except The Hills gourmet supermarket. There is a Rusty Bucket Tavern and Restaurant and I believe a real estate agency. They have been tearing down part of the shopping center to replace it with a building for senior housing. I understand the remaining part of the shopping center will be remodeled.

2019: Had to change from 3 stars to 1 because new shopping center owners have refused to replace the furnace that cannot be repaired in The Hills Market. During the past two winters, employees and customers have had to suffer in the...
