I graduated in 2020 with the most amazing instructor ever, Roger Osborne. Many of his students can say the same. My sister was very interested in doing cosmetology and I told her to go for it, it’s the best school I have been to. They have amazing students, teachers, and administrators. Little did I know, my sister would not have the same experience that I did. Sadly, her instructor let her and her classmates down. Ms. Davis has failed many students. Not meaning grade wise but she let these students down. 2 years in her lab and not a single lesson were they taught hair cutting techniques and color formulating. Yes, they had great clips and Supercuts come in the show different hair cuts etc but never did the students perform the hair cuts or color formulating. My sister had to learn this at internship. Finally in February we reached out to deans. The dean over the lab said “she has a high success rate for state boards so we aren’t worried”. Just because she has a high success rate in previous years does not mean she will this year. Three families reached out regarding the students not learning these skills. Students had all of may to make up hours if they didn’t reach them before then. My sister worked her butt off for a whole month. Multiple nights at internship to make sure she got those hours. Ms. Davis never reached out to get the updated form with the hours or to even check up. I am saddened that my sister won’t be able to take state boards & won’t be able to get the job she dreamed of because of this. I’m sad that she did not have the same experience I did. To future students, choose another lab other than cosmo. You will be failed by the whole school. I hope the president/CEO Harry Snyder sees...

My child just started their first school year here and the person at the front desk named Hannah has already made this an awful experience for our family. Just from the interaction with Hannah at orientation they no longer even want to attend the school and they haven't even had their first day yet. This is for the Diamond Oaks location. I had one student go through previously and we had many problems with Hannah then as well on a very serious level. Such as issues with late arrival seniors and marking them tardy when they are supposed to be coming in at a later time. To the students school counselor saying that the time is kept track up by minutes and it didn't add up too much so there wasn't a point in doing anything about it. I had really hoped she had received some training or was no longer there. It's most unfortunate that I am searching for a new school purely because office staff. My first student had great teachers. But your office staff is the face and voice of your school. They are who the parents and children deal with frequently and they are...
