First and foremost, I want to thank Faithful Companion again for the supportive services they provided during this unimaginably hard time. They made what would have been the most emotionally traumatizing and impossibly hard day for me to handle into a day that my family and I could properly grieve. I cannot thank them enough, and I cannot thank God enough that they were around to help.
My beloved childhood dog had a very unfortunate passing over the night. It was not a sight anyone in my family could bear. My sweet boy was over 100lbs, and I was the only one in the family remotely strong enough to pick him up on my own, but admittedly I was nowhere near emotionally strong enough to do it. At the recommendation of our vet’s office, I called Faithful Companion to inquire about retrieval and cremation. The woman I talked to on the phone was so compassionate and patient as I tried to muster through the immense grief that I was feeling as I explained the situation.
Faithful Companion sent two drivers out to retrieve him, since I made it clear that I was in no emotional state to be able to assist. They came promptly at the beginning of the time window I was given. They were very professional, yet still so very compassionate. They happily complied with my requests to leave his collar behind and to please come let me know when they were done, as I just could not watch it happen. The drivers very respectfully loaded him the van (which was a beautiful vehicle, not a cold industrial van as I had imagined it might be) in a way that I had the opportunity to say goodbye, and scratch my buddy behind the ear one last time.
Faithful Companion’s late hours gave my family and I plenty of time to look over urn options and call in with our choice. That extra time helped so much so that we didn’t need to rush to a decision into what would suit him best. We decided on the White Angel Marble, as the white marble matched my boy’s beautiful white coat, and he really was our angel. We had his name engraved on the urn, which came at no extra cost for this particular urn.
He was ready the next day (today) and carefully hand delivered by yet another kind soul. They happily fulfilled my request to set aside a few viles of his ashes so my family and I could take some time to choose urn necklaces to fill at a later date.
I also opted to get a couple of the clay paw prints made, one for my mother and one for myself. These are an actual imprint of his paw, and they are so beautiful. We will cherish them forever.
The cost for everything was very reasonable and well worth it. They are not here to monetize on your pain and suffering.
My buddy was here for 11 years taking care of our family, and though he is gone too soon, I was so glad to have Faithful Companion take care of him just as well.

Read moreI hope I never have to recommend Faithful Companion but when you find yourself having to say farewell to your pet, there are not enough words to express how grateful I am Faithful Companion handled my 9 year old English Bulldog "Gator" remains. Not only were they patient in allowing me time to grieve but also allowing me to take my time to choose the inscription. I spoke to Kyle who I believe handled Gator, or at least he was the one who I dealt with. Kyle was so pleasant on the phone even calling me to confirm how it was going to be displayed on the box. When the remains arrived the driver was super friendly or as friendly as one can be under the circumstances :). Gator'd box arrived in a nice gift bag and the box for his remains was extremely high quality and well made. When I opened the bag, I burst into tears when I saw they had also took an impression of his paw print!!! Thank you Thank You Thank You!! Words can't convey how much his paw print meant to me!!! I realized this past week, I never got around to taking an impression so I had so much regret because I thought itnwas gone FOREVER. When I opened the bag and saw it was with his remains, it truly meant so much too me. As well as knowing I don't have to live with the regret I would never have it. It is like Faithful Companion read my mind!!! Up until recently I never knew companies like Faithful Companion existed. I look back and think how things could have turned out so horrible had MedVet not worked with Faithful Companion. What would I have done? Try to grieve the loss of my little boy Gator while scrambling to figure out the process of his remains? I could barely decide on what to inscribe? I can't even imagine trying to deal with all the little details when my heart was devastatingly broken!! As much as I hate to think any pet parent will be faced with losing their pet, I would not trust anyone else to handle my pets remains except Faithful Companion..When the day arrives for Gator's sister Daisy, I am deeply and forever grateful I can reach out to Faithful Companion, Kyle and the other staff to handle the details. Gators cremation box is beautiful and a meaningful tribute that honor's Gators legacy! Also I want to add I was very impressed that Faithful Companion even delivered Gators remains directly to me. I live in Alexandria,KY which is a little bit of a drive from their location. I went into it expecting to have to pick Gator up myself due to the distance. Yet this final step in the service illustrates the level of care they showed for Gator. Read moreWe had a horrible experience was turned away from having a private crematory witness service and told they only accept cash. We drove over an hour away and had to take our beloved fur baby back home and unproper bury on our property.. That left another horrible experience and nightmares which we had to unearth our beloved and weeks later set up another private crematory service. Going under a different name because another location advised complaining may not get our proper remains back. I asked for the Regional manager to call me at an agree time 5pm today. This way, another person could be on the phone. That was concerned with our horrifying experience with faithful companion. Instead the manager calls me 5 hours earlier today friday. Not only were we not respected as long-standing customers but our beloved was not respected and put through hell. All due to the location management refusing to take cash and keeping an appointment a day in advance for private witness cremation. After a phone call that I felt was left with excuses. Heartless, rushed from the beginning to the end of the experience, I would prefer the owner.contact us. I called other locations and was told they never heard of turning someone away when there are other rooms to use and never heard of not taking cash. All around this should had never happened nor just offering a cardboard box to go. Pray this review stops it from others experiencing same situation. Honest review, by 25 plus years loyal customers. *We were offered a box to go?!? We were turned away because you did not keep scheduled day ahead appt and offered a box? To go?!? Manager had on a ripped logo shirt which assuming didn't plan on facing customers today. Also I was told by another Regional Manager. The Regional Manager for Sharonville location is named, Kim. The woman who called me 5 hours early today.... Was not named, kim. Instead i am being contacted by the location Mgr Simone. Who rushed the meeting 5 hours ahead, rushed me off the phone.
