Hardesty Market and Deli — Local services in Shawnee

This past week we finally made our way to the Hardesty Market. I had heard they have the best meats around and we wanted to try it. We ended up buying one of the "Freezer Packs" and a few extra pieces of meat. I am so glad we did! The meat is fresh, very well packaged and marked and it tastes like meat should! It is also very reasonably priced!

Everyone we encountered was so friendly, helpful and polite and even though the store is older, it was clean. When you first walk in you can smell whatever it is they are making for the lunch menu and wow, judging by the smell, it was amazing!!! Can't wait to try the specials for each day!

We will definitely be back and we won't be getting meat from anywhere else...

The staff is very friendly and very helpful with your needs and wants. My only issue is that not enough is made, concerning the lunch specials when it comes to the soups and/or stews. I think if more than one pot were made, it would be very beneficial, as any soups/stews are usually gone by the time the noon lunch crowd begins to show up. Love there meat and customer service, reason for three stars is I purchased 5lbs of beef fat to add fat to ground venison. It was froze when I purchased it I let it thaw in refrigerator and went to use it the next day the beef fat was spoiled. Wasn't much worried about $5 cost more to drive there.
