I used to give this store a 5 plus. Was a raving fan until they recently changed the layout. Eventually, I will figure out where everything is, although it seems harder this time then previous layout changes. My big issue is they removed the cut through aisles so now you have to go to the end of the aisle to go to the next one. The manager said this was done to add more products. I for one didn't need more products and it feels like it was done to force us to look at everything. I may as well go to Meijer for this layout.
Prices are great, location is great but in store navigation is no longer quick or convenient.
They've never had helpful employees in the aisles but they seemed nicer and more available during the construction phase but that has faded back to normal, which means you can't find anyone if you need help. Something recently has happened with inventory management as they are often out of things. I don't recall that in the past.
The prepared foods mostly don't look appealing as they seem to have been sitting out all day. Pharmacy is great! Sushi bar is great and friendly.

Read moreThis Kroger has the most rude and unfriendly staff in the area. Went in to buy a case of beer with my friend and my husband walked in at the same time as us to go to the bathroom. Woman working at the self-checkout made us wait until my husband was out of the bathroom then demanded that all THREE of us show our IDs in order for us to be able to buy the one 12 pack case of beer. Two of us had our IDs in the car and she made us go to the car and get it. Really?! One of us (over 21) ended up not having their ID on them (since they didn’t drive) and she wouldn’t sell to us even though the other two people with IDs were over 21. Been to 26/Vandyke, 23/Hayes, 25/Romeo Plank, Clarkston, Waterford, and many other Krogers throughout the state and have NEVER had to have everybody in my group show their ID for alcohol. Didn’t get her name, but she was extremely rude and dismissive. Highly recommend choosing another Kroger for your...
Read moreI went into this Kroger about a week ago as I always do for my groceries and needed some stuff from the deli. The lady working the deli, she was older with blonde hair and I think her name started with a B. She acted like I wasn’t even there and continued to talk to her fellow coworkers. When she finally walked over to me, she acted like I was the biggest burden in her life. You can tell she didn’t want to help me, and after I told her want I wanted she started speaking to her coworkers in a different language and I felt like she was talking about me. After helping me she gave me a dirty look, and I told her thank you and she didn’t even reply. She just turned away and continued to speak in a different language.... maybe that B in her name should stand for something else... or maybe I should just start going to Hollywood for...
