Took my cat in for the first time as a new patient last week for a teeth cleaning and shots. They were highly recommended and affordably priced and even have an app to manage your pet's health, so I was looking forward to a good experience. When I picked her up, Dr. Marion said she did great, no problems. I got her home and she refused to walk. She also growled at me for touching her paw. I thought it was just leftover effects from the anesthesia so I didn't think anything of it. The next day, she was a little better but now she was limping only to her litter box and then back to her bed. Her paw was also still very tender and her leg looked swollen. I called around noon and they told me to bring her back in that afternoon. Once there, I saw Dr. Marion again. He found some swelling in her joint but couldn't answer where it came from. His best guess was that it was something he did on accident - cord wrapped around her leg, leaned on her leg, etc. No apology, no solutions. He didn't take her temp or do any other checks beside to feel her leg. In the end, he gave her 3 days of painkillers and said it could be a infected from something at home but that it would be much worse the next day if it was an infection. I was shocked. She is an indoor cat, that never goes outside and has always been very healthy. He admitted he may have done some something wrong but I was still expected to pay for the painkillers to treat something he did. Even the staff members were surprised he didn't have a better answer. She finally recovered 3 days later but she definitely needed the pain medication 2/3 days. The office never called to check on her and never responded to my complaint. Overall, really disappointed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am not satisfied with my most recent experience here. I dropped my 4 month old lab off to be neutered and they told me he would be done between 3-5. I did receive a call around noon that I could go and pick him up. When I was waiting for the vet to come in and talk to me about the procedure she came in and seemed to be in a very poor mood. She vaguely went over everything, she didnt give my dog an e collar. She showed she was very unhappy with my dog and even expressed that she wanted to call me at 9:30 to pick him up. Now when I first walked in to pick up my puppy, I asked the nice older lady with blonde hair how he was and she said he did great, he had been a bit vocal but all dogs are and also mentioned that they had shelter animals in there too that they were all making noise. She didnt show any negative feelings about it I assumed he did well. However the vet who was wearing the green Bay packer scrubs made me feel bad, made me feel regretful that I left my dog in her care and helped me in my decision to not return for services at this place. I would have rather received a call to pick up my dog and taken him somewhere else where they have patience with puppies. I would have also love to have the update he wasnt behaving well (as the vet made it seem) if there was an option to give him a calming pill I would have authorized that as well. Ultimately I am really dissatisfied with the vet. She shoyld not be practicing if she acts that way about taking care of animals. I dont believe she has a passion for animals and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis team is so great! I had an emergency with my beagle suddenly not opening his eyes and they fit me into their busy schedule due to the serious nature of his symptoms. In fact the person who was taking him in was late and they graciously stayed a tad late to get him seen. Iām so so grateful for them, they found the problem(heād scratched his corneas somehow) and sent him home with what was necessary, even noticed symptoms of allergies Iād been wondering about and gave me a new food recommendation, and didnāt push me to buy it from them, just said āsomething like this would be goodā basically which I appreciate. I did end up buying from them, their prices were the same as every other place I checked for the same thing.
All in all a fabulous staff, Iāve gone to them in the past when I first got to town and other than one specific instance (it was one employee I donāt believe is there anymore) Iāve never had a negative visit, all in all great place!
Fairly priced in my opinion for those worried about cost. Most of us are on budgets so it can be rough but they accept Scratch Pay and Care Credit, so if payment is keeping you from getting your pets seen they...
