Unity Farm Sanctuary — Local services in Sherborn

My first visit to the farm was to their Turkey Celebration this past Nov.

This farm is truly special . They rescue farm animals and provide them a forever home. The staff is mostly volunteers , and u can tell their hearts are truely in what they do . The animals are well cared for , loving , friendly and just happy to see visitors .

The enclosures are decent size , and clean .

This farm is not just a shelter for a farm animal in need to go to . It is a home for a forgotten soul to call home , to have purpose and to bring the community together.

If you are in the area , MAKE the time to schedule a tour or grab tickets for one of their special events. If u can not do so , i Highly suggest going on their website and making a donation .

Unity farm is naking such a difference for all the animals that come to call this place home , and it touches all of the lives and hearts of every visitor !!

I am so glad that this farm had come across my facebook page, I am so glad that I had the chance to visit in Nov 19th . I just had to write this review and let them know that even a month later , their farm and its residents are still in my thoughts and heart . Somehow, i know i need to get involved . Even if for now it is by reaching all of u reading this review.

After the sudden passing of my brother at the end of last year, followed a few weeks later our rescue military GSD, Duke, also passed, life was pretty depressing, I had no direction, my compass was broken. Then I found Unity Farm Sanctuary, and my sole is a live once again with the help of my new 2 and 4 legged friends. I work full time, Monday through Friday, 8 to 10 hours a day, so I have long days that can be very stressful. Yet, the minute I turn into UFS driveway the stress is gone, I can breathe. I pick up poop and love every minute of it. Then I made myself a promise to stay an extra hour, at least, sometimes longer, to give them hugs, scratch their bellies, and groom them. There is nothing like UFS, I can't explain it, it has become my Sanctuary, I'm honored to help take care of these wonderful animals. It’s a 2-way street, these amazing creatures are helping me restore my soul, and I hope I'm doing the the same for them. I've been twice already and am going again today to celebrate Dudley's 7th birthday!! This place is incredible and I'm so glad I found it. Kathy and John are absolutely amazing. They've provided a wonderful home for these animals and it's evident when visiting how happy these animals are to have such a safe, caring place to live. My favorite part is getting to feed the goats, sheep, llama, cows and alpaca. These are the sweetest and gentlest animals and they all have their own personalities.
