Rustic Pizza — Restaurant in Sherborn

Some of my neighbors (in sherborn) were coming over and we ordered pizza from Rustic Pizza. It’s local, close and we like supporting local businesses. Two pizzas were ordered for delivery around 5pm and were told it would be 40 min...6 o’clock and no pizzas, we call and are told they are running late, verified the order, and then waited.....pizzas arrive at 7 and the order was wrong, granted we should have checked when they were delivered, but assumed at least the order would be right after a two hour wait. At that point we felt it wasn’t worth even calling since everyone just wanted to eat. We wanted to give them another chance and ordered sandwiches two other times just hoping they were having an off night, we were wrong. The pastrami sandwich was a grease soaked bun filled with very little meat that was dried out and over cooked ....I am not sure how you can have dry meat with all the grease.

I want rustic pizza to be good, I want them to be successful and since they are so close We would be regular...

I keep trying it to see if it gets better but it Keeps getting worse. Pizza is still ok albeit they were almost 2hrs late and got the order wrong the last time we ordered. The tuna sub I ordered was the saltiest tuna I’ve ever eaten and come on, two subs takes 20 mins to prepare?!? Overall the prices are high, which I don’t mind paying for good food. The food is sub par in taste ( and I feel I’m being generous here). If they simplify their menu and churn out pizzas only, I think they’d do amazing! Ordered an Italian sub with no pickles or peppers. Somehow, it translated into no onions and basalmic dressing? I'm not sure what happened there. 13$ sub with 1 slice of meat each and 6 strands of lettuce? No thanks. The girl playing register should not be in the food industry and stick to retail. Had no clue what/when food was ready to go and forgot your order minutes after giving it. 🙃
