Weis Markets — Local services in Shippensburg

Had my worst experience ever at a grocery store here today. First, a shelf-stocker was taking up the whole aisle and then randomly backed up into me pretty hard and continued to block the entire aisle. Then, I got my items that were advertised as being cheap, but what do you know, the fine (and I mean fine) print says you have to buy some excessive amount to get the discount while their other, less appealing ads are clearly displayed. I got a refund and went outside to find a cart barreling towards a car and stopped it and got in the car extremely glad to leave. Poor service, misleading prices, misallocated staff....

I really don't go to Weis. But the last time I went, I got there chicken wings out of the hot case. They were really good. Stopped today and they didn't have any hot stuff out. Except for 1 bag of chicken wings. Thought maybe they would have some chicken wings pre packaged but seafood is the only thing they had pre packaged. There prices are kinda high. But compared to other grocery stores, there not far off. Clean store. I was in and out. Not very crowded either. Shelves were stocked. Might go back and grocery shop. Seems like they have deals on...

The bakery is absolutely horrible!! I ordered a custom cake for a baby shower and when I picked it up, the frosting was all uneven, and it looked like somebody stuck their fingers in it. They did it with a black border. I have no cake now to bring to my daughter‘s baby shower. I tried to get a refund and the manager said the most I could give you is $10 and this was on half a sheet cake.
