Head over to #bronkberryfarm in #plainfieldil for a simple family outing! Entrance is free (pay for a hayride around the fields and apple picking). SHADY ESTABLISHMENT! What your wallet here! They jack up weight and prices!! We stopped for our very first time about 2 weeks ago. I wanted some sweet corn. We looked around a little but were kind of in a hurry. Got 6 ears of corn, a zucchini, a squash, a cucumber and 4 tomatoes. I asked her how much the tomatoes were when I saw her enter the price into the register. She said $17. They were $3.50 a pound the total for everything came to $40.03 she tells me $41. I was confused and stupidly on my part I should’ve questioned but didn’t. When I got home i weighed my tomatoes and nope she ripped me off with those too. My total should’ve been $13.58 for the tomatoes. We paid with cash so it’s not like there was a fee like they charge for using a card. So just be careful going here. They make up prices. Charge what they want and don’t respond to customers inquiries. I will continue to share this story as well. It may not be a lot of money but it’s principle! They’re thieves! We will NEVER return to such a shady establishment.

This apple orchard farm is tucked in a rural residential neighborhood with houses right next door and across the street. Hidden behind the street view is the apple orchard where you can pick apples, a small animal section with goats & goats, a greenhouse with a large selection of indoor & outdoor plants to purchase, as well as a large indoor store where you can buy homegrown vegetables, home & garden decor like signs & gnomes, and a general store where you can buy seasons foods such as local honey, jam, butter, donuts, pies, etc. It's free to enter the store, by the way, and you only pay for what you buy inside. There are bags to purchase as well if you're buying a lot, or you can bring your own. My wife & I bought a Raven ZZ plant, some apple butter, and preserves/jam, donuts, and apples while we were there

The farm, land, and animals are beautiful. It's really a shame, that the experience I had as a vendor there was anything but pleasant. It began the moment I arrived, looking for my spot, with the owner , Jen directing me yo a woman in a red shirt. Unfortunately there were many women in red shirts that day, so again I was advised to ask her. She was very condescending, and hostile. After these interactions with her, I then had her husband pull up in his tractor in front of my booth and threaten to tow my car. When I advised him that my car was not on the lot, he basically called me a liar, in front of many other vendors. I also experienced the owner, Jen yelling at an employee as I was paying for my booth fee. I felt so terribly for this employee to be yelled at in public , at the register with a store full of guests. The farm is gorgeous. People who run it,...

Sadly, did not have a good experience with this place. Wanted to visit a fall/pumpkin farm for the first time and this one popped as the best one around so decided to give it a try. For the first thing, parking is absolutely terrible. Got stuck and blocked so many times trying to just find a place. It is not directed by the staff, everyone tries to fit anywhere with their trucks or suv and it’s just a accident waiting to happen while trying to even find a parking space. For the second, they advertise pumpkins and farm. Went there to find 5-6 pumpkins behind a little fence looking like in someone’s backyard…..definitely did not expected that… It was just a big, plain yard in the middle of neighborhood. There was no food or drink options when I went. Not recommended if you look for a nice and relaxing...
