I walked in and I told them I have a severe dairy allergy so I just wanted a small coffee filled halfway with coffee and halfway with coconut milk. I told them not to steer it or anything since my allergy is so severe I didn't want to risk using a contaminated spoon. The lady ringing me up was new. Usually, when I go there I asked the lady ringing me up just to do it so none of this gets lost in transition because of the seriousness of it. Since she was new, she said she could not do it, which I was completely fine with. But the guy that could do it that was listening in on it all, told her that they need to charge me some fancy drink in place of what they normally charge me since I was doing Coconut milk. Whatever he charged me it was costing me over $4 for a small hot coffee. I can't help the fact that I have an allergy I would love to just be able to eat or drink anything so why would I get punished having to pay that much more? Now I do understand there is a slight upcharge for anything that's not milk, but I have been to that Starbucks many times and I have never paid over $4 for a small coffee and I always get the milk substitute, obviously. I don't know what he was doing but it wasn't happening. I was going to argue with him and try to figure out what exactly was going on but the whole time I was talking to this guy who is training the other girl, he kept rubbing the back of his hand on his nose. He had a runny nose and was literally making drinks well yelling this to the girl and wiping boogers on the back of his hands. No gloves on! I looked at the girl and I said forget it all and walked right out! to make matters worse, there was a girl on the other side of them that looked like the manager just observing all this and didn't step in at all and tell him he needed to wash his hands, or fix my issue of being...
Read moreI enjoy Starbucks and I am not overly picky. I like the sweet drinks but I also don’t mind a strong espresso or coffee flavor. My bf on the other hand only enjoys the sweet drinks. When I order I am very specific about the number of pumps of each syrup to put in the drink assuming that if they do the same number each time the drinks will be consistent. They never are at this Starbucks. The drink always taste different. Sometimes the syrup is overpowering and enough to make me gag and other times you can’t taste anything beyond the shots of espresso which is too strong a flavor for him to enjoy. I was told that the reason it varies is because sometime the baristas pump real fast and it doesn’t give a full pump but if I am ordering and paying for a specific number of pumps and I am only getting half of what I paid for or less this is unacceptable. More then anything that is my complaint. I order 4 pumps I expect 4 full pumps nothing less then what I paid extra for. This has happened so many times and I always blow it off because I don’t mind personally but enough is enough. Management at this Starbucks needs to seriously sit down with all of the staff and retrain. When there is no consistency this is bad...
Read moreI usually stop at this Starbucks as it is the one I pass on my way to the expressway. However, as time goes on, this location quality is plummeting. Today I waited exactly a little over 15 minutes for my mobile order to be prepared. The barista asked for all names on mobile orders and said that she would start on them next. However, I watched her pull more mobile order slips which further delayed my drink being made. I try to be understanding and patient as I know many places are understaffed and their current staff is probably overwhelmed and overworked, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I waited while this barista continued to prepare other orders that came in after mine. Not only did I wait several minutes for my drink, but my drink wasn’t hot and it did not taste like what I usually order. Most importantly- it wasn’t hot although I ordered it to be extra hot. Nothing is more disappointing than waiting 15 minutes to be served warm coffee. So, I was forced to toss it and stop at McDonald’s to get hot coffee - the coffee they served was actually hot. Go figure! I probably won’t return to this establishment. This hasn’t been my first bad experience, but it definitely put the...
