Shoshone laundromat — Local services in Shoshone

Went down to the laundromat a few nights ago. Thank goodness the new owners made it 24/7, definitely helps out when you work graveyards and your sleep schedule is all wack. But besides that, one of the machines ate 3 of my quarters, and guess what they left their phone number which was super convenient! Wasn’t a super big deal, especially since we’ve had to drive to Wendell to do laundry before, and the machine only gave us 4$ back out of 20$ and there was so number to call to get our money back. The owner replied within a short few minutes thanking us for letting him know and came down as soon as possible. He was super friendly and very helpful, we did get our 3 quarters back but not only that he had paid for 2 of our loads. We were super shocked and felt very thankful. We were already in a pickle Financially but needed some laundry done and with him paying for 2 loads we saved 10$. We couldn’t thank him enough. With the new owners taking care of the equipment, our clothes were more clean. Past laundromats were fairly good but you could definitely feel the difference. I've been to laundromats all over the country and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is probably the nicest laundromat I've been to so far. You can tell they put a lot of time, money and effort into this place. It's the first laundromat I've ever seen touch screen washers and dryers - super fancy. Prices are also really fair compared to some other places I've seen. Note they don't have an ATM, but you can get cash back at the gas station next door and the coin machine takes $1, $5, and $10 bills. (Not $20, so break up your bills.) The entrance is in the back alley, definitely don't judge the inside based on the outside, it's an old town, but inside is very nice. The owner is super kind and helpful if you need anything as well. This laundromat is just like home but with lots of machines at very reasonable prices. We travel a lot and are always looking for clean places to do our laundry. We almost went to a different place but the reviews were so bad we kept looking. The reviews for this place are very accurate! The machines all work, including the change machine, and the owner is right there to teach you how to use the machines. It’s very clean and everyone is friendly. Note that the entrance is from the alley in the back. I wish we could find more laundromats like this. Heck, I wish we could even find another one like this....
