Normally when I go here, they are nice but yesterday was a joke. I've been in customer service for 10+ years now and I know what good service looks like and this was not it. the larger/older lady was incredibly rude and did not want to serve us. If we made any modifications to our order she huffed and puffed and told us she couldn't refill our drinks because she had other tables to take care of first. I had seen her role eyes at us at least twice. We were polite and patient. I've waited tables, she had four tables and we were the largest quantity of 9. My friends 3yo wanted a bag of candy which was clearly on the table the entire time and she failed to charge her for it. I thought this morning I will give them another chance and went by myself with my kids and she glared at us and her coworker had become rude to us for no reason. I asked her if she could refill my sons drink and she responded with I will only do it once. I find that sharing someone else's attitude completely disrespectful. And at check out I bought my son a candy and that same woman from yesterday tried to charge me for the candy my friends kid asked for, even though she was the one who failed to charge HER for it. Read moreWorst place I have ever been. Service was horrible. It took the waitress 20 minutes to bring a menu and that’s after she had been to the table three times then said she forgot. Another hour to get our food. While waiting she proceeded to give my kids toys out of the list and found to play with. There was dead flies all over the window seal next to the back of our table. When we finally got our food everything that was supposed to be hot was cold and my chef salad was warm. I took two bites before seeing a piece of salad that was soggy and moldy. Upon leaving we were sick and when I complained to staff one told me how horrible she thought the place was and the other said it was not hers(she was the waitress), the chefs or the managers faults. She proceeded to tell me she couldn’t refund my money all she could do would be take my number and maybe the manager would call me back. Do not Eat there. Read moreMy wife and I eat locally only when we travel to help out local businesses. The chicken fried steak on others plates looked very appealing. Unfortunately the food took over an hour to arrive, as if we'd been forgotten. Leah and sunny we're very nice waitresses, so that's a positive, but at the same time it's your job to check on your customers food.
Coincidentally (or was it) after an hour of waiting and finally deciding to ask about our food, it was on our table within 5 minutes.
I had to ask them to microwave my sunny side up eggs because there was still clear raw egg on the top. I think they are lucky we are very patient and polite people. Unfortunately I don't know that I'd give it another shot if we came through town again.
One suggestion would be that if things are going to take time just let your customers know ahead of time as people who would eventually complain can just leave, or patient people that don't mind waiting as long as they can expect to wait,...
