Zup's Food Market — Local services in Silver Bay

If you like meat, especially sausage, you've come to the right place. I recently moved to town and I did not expect to be so happy with my local grocery store. I love to cook and grill and Zup's has had pretty much every ingredient I've come there looking for. The store brand sourdough is amazing. I've been to a couple of specialty sausage shops that have LESS sausage options than Zup's offers on the shelf.

The staff is friendly and will bring your groceries to your car for you. I thought I would find that annoying, but I really don't miss cart corrals. They bag quickly, efficiently, and roll right out.

With a couple days notice you can call in custom orders in the meat and bakery departments.

I challenge you to find a grocery store parking lot with a better view...

8/20/22 5:00pm. Went to the store to just find a few items that my girlfriend and I forgot to pick up for our weekend camping trip. Came into the store found what we needed just fine. The staff however were obnoxious and not well kept. The gentleman at the register reeked and was doing what looked like a extravagant “potty dance”. Was very rude and was talking poorly about other customers and thought it was funny. The gentleman in front of us had put his card in and it came back with “insufficient funds”. The employee then went out of his way to let the rest of the customers in the store know that his card didn’t work. We will not be coming back again, considering we stay at the Black Beach...

It aint Cub nor Super One, thats for sure. Small store that feels like you've traveled back in time, and not a happy time. Narrow selection of items, although they carry wide selection of coffees. Folgers AND Maxwell house. Dairy case only had a few items, but plenty of empty space should more product arrive. I gathered up the few items i could find and got in line at the check out. After the previous customer was done checking out (and wrangling her disruptive kid), the clerk looked at me and then walked away. The clerk eventually came back and said, "Oh, you're still here?" It wasn't a good impression of my first visit to this store. I believe I'll start shopping at the Super One in...
