Originally thought this place was great, but after my last experience never again will I recommend or go to this place. Simply wanted a split queen box set and sold us the most expensive one they had, instead of offering the lower priced items first or offering any other item for that matter. $150 lost. Lesson learned I guess. Lady has an attitude both while at store and over the phone. We asked if we could immediately return the item that was still wrapped and in the package (had father pick up since he was in Sioux Falls) after we found out the ridiculous price we were charged and refused to help in any way. Will never recommend or go to this place again. Lucky to receive one star.
No I wrote this review myself, as I am the one that purchased it. We did talk on the phone about split box set. I have been in your establishment.. TWICE. Once to look at a bed..Second time to pick up box springs. No i was not there yesterday, my father was, as stated in the first part of review (did you read it or just jump to defensive conclusion?) As far as politics go I have no idea what you are talking about as I was not there, but after reading your comment you did have an opinion about it clearly so don't lie that you didn't. I don't care about any affiliation of political party, that's not why I wrote this review. I wrote this review because of poor attitude over the phone to my wife, and poor attitude towards my dad in the store. You also originally told him you didn't have any split box springs for queens, until you climbed the ladder and saw you had them. I just feel poor business effort by not offering all options and pushing the most expensive out the door. I understand you're a business and trying to make a buck but could of at least shown all options. I'm out $150 which I really don't care about, but you've lost all future business from myself and anyone asking opinion on bedding. My opinion or review doesn't change. I'm not tarnishing your reputation or your store, just giving an honest review. Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it not true. Good luck...
Read moreWe had been to Dreamers Outlet once before to buy a mattress. I remember the purchase going fairly smooth so we went back to look at a couch we had been eyeing online. When we got there the couch was much smaller than we had hoped but for $645 I wasn’t surprised/upset. We then looked at another couch and we were told it was $1269 by the owner- we were hesitant already because we have cats and we knew it was going to become a scratching post anyway.. but we loved it and we were tired and just wanted a new couch. So we set up the 3rd party delivery service through the owner (he had him on speaker phone and he told us $100 cash, and he’d be there by 3-3:30) perfect!!
We finally are ready to checkout and the other owner (husband and wife operation) told us that HE had the wrong price sheet and it was actually $1400 something.. obviously annoyed by the fact that they changed the price at the last second, even more annoyed that they didn’t honor the price they quoted us 30 minutes beforehand.. they ended up “meeting us in the middle” and taking $95 off 🙄 normally I would have walked away from the sale simply for the fact that they wouldn’t honor the OG price.. but my girlfriends mom was there and I wasn’t going to cause a scene.
Finally get it all paid for and the guy owner calls and says it will be 4 when the delivery service gets there.. so at 4:15 when they weren’t there, I called the store to be told that he was just now there loading up the couch. So still going to be 20-30 minutes.. (so over an hour late already). He proceeded to not take any responsibility for the experience we had and said the delivery is out of his hands.. blah blah blah. Tried to call me later to “check on things” but I cannot stand the way that every single thing out of his mouth is a joke or sarcastic. It’s hard to even have a conversation with him. Read moreDO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE! We went to dreamers outlet for a couch. Not a couch that isn’t functional. After a month of owning the couch the reclining side started “sticking”. So we went back in to see what our options were. Was told by Dan that a repair man would be calling us shortly. Great. Then several months went by. No repairman and no communication from them. So we went back into the store and tried getting information on why we never received a call. As soon as i walked in i was greeted by Gaylyn, one of the owners. She had an awful attitude from the start. She was mad we interrupted her personal conversation with the other lady she was so intently talking to behind the desk. She told us she would be having her husband Dan call when he had time (he was apparently helping a friend build a shed that day and couldn’t be bothered) to see if he had any news on the status of the repairs. We received a call from him an hour later and my husband answered the phone to be greeted with “Hi this is Dan from Dreamers Outlet. I heard you were rude to my wife”. That was not at all the case. She was the one who thought her conversation was more important than a paying customer! All they did was make excuses that the repairman was out of town and that he had a ton of customers ahead of us before we could get our couch fixed. We explained our couch we got now 8 months ago was no longer going down. They couldn't care less. They were just glad they got our money with there no return policy. Long story short we sold the couch…broken. Went an bought a WAY NICER COUCH from furniture mart. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else and read the one star reviews to this place.
