Visit 1: I entered and the young woman was changing out the trash. I waited for several moments, what seemed a couple of minutes, and she never spoke. When she got through, she turned and said she was sorry and asked what I would like. I gave my order, and she turned and grabbed a cup to make my blizzard. I said, "Excuse me." When she responded, I asked if she were going to wash her hands. She seemed confused, so I asked again if she were going to wash her hands after changing the trash. She apologized and went to the back. She returned and waved her hands at me, and I thanked her. My food was good and hot and made correctly.
Visit 2: Same young woman, a week or two later. She took my order, and I received my food but not my blizzard. A big group of softball players came in. I went to the counter and said I didn't get my blizzard, turtle pecan cluster. She handed me a blizzard that looked like Oreo and spun on her heel to go behind the counter. I interrupted her escape and asked if my blizzard was turtle pecan cluster. She looked aggravated when she took it, but she apologized and made the right one.
Visit 3: A couple of weeks later. My Sunday school class descended to eat. Since a storm kept us from going to Thunder Road between supper and dessert, we decided to go ahead and eat dessert before we left. Since I received a blizzard that was really soupy and couldn't have been flipped, I figured the machines were running hard and wasn't going to say anything. All the blizzards coming out after mine were firm and flipped. The next time the manager came out, my friends said, "Show him yours," so I tilted my cup and showed him when he asked what was wrong. He said he would make me another one, and I thanked him. I looked up just as he got through making it, and he flipped it upside down and kept it upside down until he reached me (showoff 😎) at which point he said something like, "Okay, darling, I kept it upside down the whole way so this one should be good enough for you." I laughed and told him I appreciated it (even though I hadn't complained and he was being a...
Read moreI ordered 2 meals from here and both orders were wrong and some of order was even missing. Burger combo meal, no fries. Chicken finger basket, no gravy, only about 11 fries and 6 random shaped chicken strips so chewy and old couldn’t even eat them. The bag Uber delivered was stapled, so I don’t believe the Uber driver who delivered it was responsible .
I called and spoke with the GM Jessie and he told me to get Uber to re order it all on account if it being wrong. He said he’d just gotten to the store and couldn’t say if he knew his employees had messed anything.
Fair enough, so we reported order wrong and got refunded and ordered the same exact order as before. We spoke with Jesse to let him know we placed another order, and he agreed to check it himself before it was picked up.
Second order also wrong and missing parts! Burger combo was missing bacon and the drink , and the chicken strip basket is missing bread. At this point I knew it wasn’t Ubers fault, and don’t understand how it came here wrong when the GM Jesse said he’d personally check it. He did give us 2 small Blizzards for our inconvenience, but I’d rather have had the bacon, drink and bread.
We called Jesse back to report incorrect order and he swore that it didn’t show on their end that the burger had bacon on it ( though it is called bacon something burger, and even though it was the literal exact same order we’d previously placed and called about.
Jesse blamed the first order being wrong/ missing items on Uber eats. I was cool with that . But we called again he blamed it on a computer glitch that I doubt happened. I wish he had acknowledged that a mistake could’ve been made on their end, then I’d feel better about this whole debacle.
So for about $30, I got a burger, a fries, a drink and some chicken strips. I love DQ and was excited all day about getting dinner there. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with dealing with a restaurant, or anyone in customer service at any business who messed...
Read moreNot only is this the best Dairy Queen I’ve been to is the best fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to! when I ordered my food through door dash which I do not do not do not recommend they only showed half the order so Dairy Queen only made half the order when I took it up with door dash they said it would take 24 hours to speak with a supervisor because I was not getting anywhere with the chat person (yes I’m being a Karen but I have a right just keep reading) so I called Dairy Queen and explained that I’m not from here I’m traveling through and my children’s food was the food missing and by the time door dash said they would redeliver my kids who are very young would be going to bed and I don’t have any other food except some snacks.
